Yanyan and Yueyue, upon hearing this, also clamored to go shopping.
Luo Qiao looked at them, “It’s quite cold outside today, are you sure you don’t want to stay at home and play with your little cousin instead of going shopping with your uncle and auntie?”
Yanyan frowned her delicate eyebrows, “Well, in that case, we’ll stay home and play with our little cousin.”
Everyone laughed, and Rong Daniang smiled, “Our Yanyan is so quick to understand, very smart indeed.”
While eating, Luo Qiao mentioned, “Tomorrow I’ll take you guys to tour Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to get a feel for the atmosphere there.”
Xiao Ya put down her bowl, “Alright, let’s also check out these world-class institutions.”
Seeing her excitement, Luo Qiao then said, “Later on, I’ll take you to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, I believe you’ll like it even more.”
Xiao Ya hugged Luo Qiao’s arm, “You understand me the best.”
The Luo’s Elderly Couple watched the two sisters-in-law being affectionate with each other and smiled happily at their faces.
After the meal, Wei Jun left with Luo Xuyuan and Xiao Ya, while Luo Qiao fed the children, then tidied up and went downstairs, ready to bring out the strawberries that Elder Rong had packed earlier.
This was her first time going out after her delivery, dressed up like a bear.
When she arrived at the laboratory, everyone was surprised, thinking that Luo Qiao would need more time before coming in.
After washing the strawberries she brought, Luo Qiao made her way to Professor Wilson’s office, knocking lightly on the door and hearing someone inside say, “Come in.”
Only then did she enter.
Seeing Professor Wilson’s two assistants interacting, she greeted warmly with a smile, “Hi, John, Beth, good morning. Is the professor in?”
Professor Wilson’s assistant John said with surprise, “Luo, I thought it would be some time before you could come back to the lab.”
Beth nodded and pointed to the changing room, “He’s in there.”
Luo Qiao put the strawberries on the table, “I’ve brought some strawberries from our farm for you to try.”
Just then, the professor came out from the changing room, looking surprised to see Luo Qiao. He asked about her and the children’s well-being and, noticing the strawberries on the table, smiled and took one to taste, “Oh, these are really sweet, the sweetest strawberries I’ve ever had.”
John and Beth also came over, each taking a berry to taste, and John exaggeratedly exclaimed, “Oh my god, how can these be so delicious.”
Seeing his exaggerated demeanor, Luo Qiao couldn’t help but laugh, “I’m glad you like them, I’ll bring more next time.”
After arranging with the professor to return to the lab starting next week, she left the laboratory.
While walking out of the campus, she had Hannah help her look for two household helpers, because in a little over ten days when her grandparents and aunt leave, Rong Daniang alone wouldn’t be able to handle everything.
Now with Wei Jun busy with Yipin Farmstead’s business and He Qing taking care of Yanyan and Yueyue, the house indeed needed two more helpers.
Moreover, she would also be busy after the new year. Wei Jun had already completed Yipin’s registration in America and, besides Massachusetts, Yipin bases had been established in New York State, Pennsylvania, and Ohio State.
After the new year, once Qiao Hua’s health was better, she would share the workload with Wei Jun; after all, America was vast. Establishing a base in each of the fifty states was a significant undertaking.
She wasn’t greedy; covering them before returning home was fine. Later on, earning foreigners’ money to invest back home in construction would be perfect.

Seeing the woman blocking his way, Lu Yichen furrowed his brow, “Please excuse me.”
“Director Lu, just do me this favor, I’ve already bought the tickets.”
“I’m sorry, but apart from family, I never spend time alone with any woman other than my wife. Please leave immediately.”
“Oh come on, your wife is abroad, isn’t she? She won’t know. I just want to invite you to a concert.”
“Can’t you understand plain English? Please leave immediately.”
“Why are you being so harsh?”
After saying that, she still acted coyly, but Lu Yichen pushed her aside with his briefcase and strode away.
This woman, Zhai Yuyuan, her grandfather, and Master Gu were old acquaintances. She had moved back to Capital City from the south in recent years, and they had reunited at a gathering for old friends a few months ago.
