“Spent it?” Lincoln Green didn’t understand.
“Yeah, literally.” Abigail Green estimated that the baby should be waking up soon. She didn’t have time to bicker with the person in front of her, so she lazily responded.

That way, it’ll be more practical than bothering your youngest daughter for the hard-earned money she makes as a family helper for the Piers.” At this, Abigail suddenly fixed her gaze on Lincoln Green. “This is the Piers. Are you really not worried that our conversation will spread and become a laughingstock?”
