The only way to stop it was to completely obliterate fleshheart’s core essence. Without that, the treasure chest would remain in existence, an unyielding manifestation of fleshheart’s will.

Daniel didn’t have time to react. The attack landed almost instantly, and he could do little but brace himself.
"I knew it. This wasn’t going to be simple."
A mutter passed through Daniel’s mind, and in that instant, he immediately activated Divine Cleanse, purging any lingering effects from the mind power attack. At the same time, he tightly held onto the Time Stream ability, ready to activate it at the slightest sign of trouble.
