The Elf Forest is located in the south of the Aireland Continent. It’s a vast, emerald green forest inhabited by all the elves. Within the forest, the Elf Race has formed an almost completely isolated society from the outside world.
Outside the Elf Forest, they are protected by the forest and patrolled by the warriors of the Elf Race. Except for elves, almost no other races can enter it to glimpse the world of the elves.
After leaving Yili Village, Shami used a Teleportation Gate to arrive at the outskirts of the Elf Forest with Lureya. This town is the closest one to the Elf Forest, but it’s still a full hundred kilometers away.
Because elves frequently come out from the Elf Forest to this town, it’s called ’Elf Town.’ It’s not large in size but has a well-developed infrastructure.
From this small town, the two could see the distant forest, vividly green as if without a single impurity, which was indeed the Elf Forest.
"Alright then, just ahead is the territory of the Elf Race."
The two bid farewell on the plains outside the town. Lureya wore a green dress typical of the Elf Race, her golden hair naturally cascading down her back.
Shami looked out at the forest, noticing nothing unusual, only that it seemed purer green than any ordinary forest.
Lureya looked at Shami.
"Ah, just a single ’mm’? Nothing else at all?! Surely, once I’m gone, you’ll be so lonely! Maybe you’ll cry your eyes out after we part ways? If you asked me to stay just a bit longer, I might even come here every week to see you!"
Seeing Shami’s nonchalant attitude, Lureya unhappily moved closer, standing on her tiptoes as she seriously stared at Shami.
Shami seriously looked at the little face of the golden-haired girl.
"I’ll give you five enhanced Teleportation Gates. I can only create one of these each day, so don’t use them up all at once."
The elf maiden took the scrolls that appeared in Shami’s hands, paying them little mind.
This wasn’t the time to discuss such things. Partings should have the atmosphere of farewells. At least give a light kiss.
"Compared to the previous Teleportation Gates, these five have an additional capability. They can teleport you over long distances directly back to me if necessary."
The elf maiden was instantly interested.
"But if it’s not necessary, don’t use this ability lightly."
Lureya pouted her little mouth.
Hmph, once I’m by your side, if I play the victim and say I missed you, surely you won’t be able to do anything about a little elf maiden.
"If you teleport back to me and can’t explain any urgent situation, and just make up some excuse that you missed me, I definitely won’t send you back to the Elf Forest. From Yili Village to the Elf Forest, the teleportation gate I use requires a one-day cooldown. It would take you at least half a month to return on your own, understand?"
Lureya blinked guiltily.

Never having gotten a farewell kiss from Shami, the elf maiden waved her hand, no longer insisting.
The girl had initiated once, to do so again would be too ungracious.
Lureya turned around, preparing to fly back to the Elf Forest.
Shami grabbed Lureya’s hand, gently drawing her into his embrace.
Lureya was slightly moved, her small hands froze for a moment then slowly raised, wanting to hug Shami.
Shami indeed understood the occasion a bit.
"Since you’re leaving anyway... if you want a kiss or something, I could give you one..."
The elf maiden murmured quietly but was almost immediately drowned out by Shami’s voice.
"Lureya, study well at school, don’t let the other elves’ chests affect your mindset. What’s right for you is best."
"Huh? How can you seriously say something like that!" The elf maiden blushed, pushing Shami away, "Just because you’ve touched it doesn’t mean you have the right to talk!"
Lureya flew back to the Elf Forest.
"I’m going! You won’t see me for a year!"
He only wanted Lureya to know that a chest is not a hard standard to measure an elf maiden. Her appearance and other figure aspects were already quite perfect, and any minor flaw in the chest could be overlooked.
More important than chest size is focusing on improving her skills and not becoming a weak link among the Demon Envoy. That’s the truly essential thing.
After seeing Lureya off and staying in Elf Town for a day, Shami returned to Yili Village.
Upon returning, at Maple Forest, Shami encountered the Bone Frame who came looking for him.
"Lord Shami, I have an important matter to discuss with you."
The Bone Frame bore a profound expression.
"Lord Shami should know that skeletons living only in cemeteries can’t grow."
"Hmm... Is this some proverb of the Skeleton Race? But in the usual sense, skeletons only shrink, not grow, right?"
Shami looked over curiously.
"It’s undoubtedly pleasant to stay by Lord Shami’s side. But always relying on you won’t allow me to grow."
"For a skeleton soldier to talk about growth is too bizarre, Bone Frame. Your goal is to burn yourself out working for the Demon Race."
"But before that, I still want to go out and see the world on my own, Lord Shami. When I first met you, I already said, I wish to pursue a path different from that of ordinary Skeleton Races."
