At this moment, there seemed to be some strange commotion coming from below the magic tower.
She looked down through the window and saw a few guards running, seemingly in pursuit of something.

The Magical Girl leaned against the railing.
The ring communication started.

Shami’s voice came through the pendant.

The street near the magic tower was quieter compared to other main roads.

The so-called Cyan Rattan Coffee Shop was located on a desolate little street three kilometers away from the magic tower, with a plain and unassuming storefront and no customers inside. Two green vines hung above the entrance as decoration.
They entered the store.
Shami and Elze chose a window seat in the corner and each ordered a cup of handcrafted coffee.
Before long, a black-haired girl with a veil sat across from them.
It was the Magical Girl.
"Sorry, it’s a hassle being recognized here since this is where magic tower students frequent, so I chose a small cafe."
The black-haired girl removed the veil, slightly surprised.

"Elze is one of us, so I brought her here for a visit."
