The tense and grim atmosphere quickly took a drastic turn right after Xu Feng's trash-talking skill.
One side started to laugh uncontrollably while another side started to feel anger.
Without any geniuses to point out, the side laughing was naturally the four major guilds at Dawnshire City.
"Hahaha, human trash really doesn't deserve to have a name. They're trash after all." Steelshot laughed the wildest. He clutched his stomach due to the aching pain from laughing.
"You should tone down your laughter." SilentWhisper suddenly reprimanded. "It's too contagious and I might start laughing as well. We shouldn't laugh at trash who could still benefit the environment by disappearing."
"Bwahahahaha!" Steelshot exploded and plopped to the ground, his legs kicking back and forth.
Aside from him, a few members of the Silver Wind Guild also laughed like crazy after hearing SilentWhisper's statement.
Meanwhile, CarnageBound and Jackson's side exuded an intense bloodlust.
Their killing intent expanded to the point that it could suffocate a person once caught in it.
"You just lost your chance of mercy." CarnageBound narrowed his eyes and glared at Xu Feng.
"No, that statement is not valid for trash." Xu Feng shook his head.
He then took a few steps forward, ignoring the enemies nearby, his eyes fixated on CarnageBound.
"You people have lost the chance of begging for mercy since you commenced the act." He continued, his voice calm. The tone contained a trace of dismissiveness, almost as if the battle had already been determined.
"Hmph, arrogant bastard! Prepare to die from my sword!"
Suddenly, from behind, a Swordsman from CarnageBound's side rushed toward him, his figure blurring with speed.
The sword was already raised, its edge gleaming coldly in the dim light as he aimed to slash at Xu Feng. The force of the attack was designed to split through the air with deadly precision.
The Swordsman's face was grinning wildly, clearly believing its sneak attack was going to work. 'Heh, how dare you act as if we don't exist. I'm not some extra, but a deadly swordsman.'
Meanwhile, without even turning around, Xu Feng's lips curled into a faint smirk.
Right before the Swordsman's sword could slash him, it was deflected by an uncanny-looking creature.
"What the—" Startled, the Swordsman's eyes widened in shock. "How is there a summoned creature?"
The creature appeared out of nowhere, but that wasn't the crucial part. It was the fact that his attack was blocked and completely nullified by the unknown creature.
The Swordsman struggled for a bit before realizing an incoming blast was coming straight at him. Alarmed, they attempted to free themselves, only to end up being entangled by the creature.
Unable to dodge, the Swordsman was blasted and his health bar dropped by 70%.
They were sent flying across the side.
"Ugh, what the heck is that damage?" Confused, the Swordsman was about to get up until his neck was slashed down by the same creature. His health bar subsequently dropped to 0. The sequence of the event happened so fast that it took the enemies a few moments to snap out of their daze.
Even CarnageBound was rendered speechless by the high damage output.
'The Swordsman's defense attribute is mediocre, but to lose 70% of his health from one damage. How did he manage that?' He became alarmed and realized the Honorary Elder seemed more difficult than the Vanguard Guild Commander.
The Vanguard Guild Commander was strong, but they lacked experience—especially in combat.
However, the Vanguard Honorary Elder clearly displayed a vast understanding of his ability and was equipped with strong combat experiences. Not to mention, he was able to discern the enemy's attributes and take quick and accurate action to retaliate.
That was not something you could easily do on the spot unless you developed a natural instinct about it!
"Don't underestimate him. Make sure to concentrate and coordinate well." CarnageBound warned his people. The mistake that the swordsman made was enough to be a wake-up call for the rest to understand the severity.
Even if Xu Feng was surrounded at the moment, they shouldn't lower their guard one bit. Otherwise, they might die without knowing when and how.
When Xu Feng noticed no one dared to rush forward, he was secretly pleased with the result.
'Human feared the unknown.' He thought. By demonstrating such an overwhelming power, it effectively deterred CarnageBound and the rest from acting impulsively.
What they failed to realize was that they had fallen into the trap he set up.
As if anyone could easily produce such damage without any limit repeatedly.
With how cautious the enemies became, Xu Feng had to keep up with the pretense. He calmly advanced forward at a slow but steady pace.
The enemies who surrounded him also began to hesitate. They didn't dare to launch an attack immediately.
Thus, a comical scene of the enemies retreating every time Xu Feng approached close to them began.
"Are we really just going to let him join the four major guilds like that?" KaleSalad asked in an unwilling tone.
Jackson was equally frustrated by the scene, but those people weren't his to command. They were under CarnageBound and the Guild Leader had already informed him beforehand to listen to CarnageBound's orders.
Under no circumstances were he allowed to disobey him—even if it meant going suicide mode.
"What should we do, CarnageBound?" Jackson inquired.
However, he was ignored as CarnageBound had his eyes locked on Xu Feng.
"Are you really a healer?" CarnageBound coldly asked. "A healer being able to deal such high damage output must have been cheating, right? How did you bypass the System?"
CarnageBound decided to accuse Xu Feng of cheating and even told his people to mass report him.
"Seriously?" Amused, Xu Feng nearly laughed at their ridiculous behavior.
"What's wrong with being a healer and smoking a bunch of trash?" He continued, finding their accusation laughable. Trash, no matter what class you played, would be easily dealt with.
"Hmph, just wait till the System bans your account." CarnageBound sneered coldly. He had used an identification scroll to check on Xu Feng's equipment.
His equipment was decent, but it wasn't overly powerful to have dealt such high damage. In other words, CarnageBound was positive that Xu Feng managed to bypass the system and had some cheats.
Although the chance was very slim, there had been instances where cheaters occurred. After all, nothing was ever guaranteed to be secured. At best, it was just 99.99%.
