"I still need like 5 minutes or so." The healer replied timidly. This was the first time they had been restricted in such a manner.
'5 minutes huh?' Silent, Gentle Wind's eyes narrowed.
As the enemies approached them closer, she knew it would be impossible to stall for longer.
She and her guildmates were all exhausted from the siege. It was extremely difficult to have stalled for this long and a miracle that they had yet to be killed.
Just when she thought a brutal battle would commence, a voice echoed from afar, completely taking everyone by surprise.
"Oh, a secret party without me. Isn't that very impolite?" Xu Feng, who finally arrived at the scene exclaimed loudly. His appearance took Jackson and CarnageBound by surprise.
"Evelyn failed to stop the intruder?" Startled, CarnageBound understood Evelyn's skills the most. To think that even she failed to stop the intruder was baffling enough.
'Did she underestimate the intruder? No, that can't be it. She's even more cautious and holds more items than me.' He quickly shook off that thought, his expression turned wary.
Evelyn was somewhat superior to him in combat, so CarnageBound refused to believe the enemy who took her down to be some easy opponent.
"So it's the Honorary Elder Cool Wind." KaleSalad chuckled as he recognized the so-called intruder.
"Sorry, but this party doesn't welcome you." He continued, clearly taunting Xu Feng. He was still holding the grudge from their previous interactive moment, given that he was straight-up extorted on the spot.
Now that the tables had turned. He would be damned if he didn't take advantage of this to taunt him back.
Unfortunately, that would be KaleSalad's mistake.
Before anyone could even react, Xu Feng had already launched a decisive strike and one-shotted KaleSalad.
KaleSalad's health bar immediately went to zero, but his expression remained unchanged. It was clear that he didn't anticipate being killed instantly. As his body plopped to the ground like a dead fish, the atmosphere turned grim.
CarnageBound's face darkened as he couldn't even react in time. 'No wonder Evelyn got done in. What kind of casting speed was that?'
There was no large movement from Xu Feng, yet he was able to cast such a deadly spell and kill KaleSalad.
"Wasn't he a healer? Or was it a sham?" Alarmed, Jackson's eyes widened in disbelief at the destructive power of a healer.
"Is he not a healer but an Arcane Mage or Sorcerer?" He added, wondering about Xu Feng's actual class.
Since Xu Feng kept his profile private—even from friends, no one actually knew about his class. Therefore, Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze had no idea of what his actual class was.
They merely assumed he was a healer, granted he was able to heal their health bar.
However, as the game progressed, it became evident that there were some unique skills that could be learned through special Ragged Scrolls. As long as their class shared the same base, such as Warrior, Mage, and Specialist, then the skill could be learned even if it was not their specific one.
While everyone remained shocked, CarnageBound regained his composure and smirked coldly.
"Just one single death. Do you think that's enough to handle all of us?" He spread his arms wide and took control of the situation. Soon, more than 50 players raised their weapons, their gaze filled with killing intent.
These 50 players were all wearing the guild emblem of Vegan Life, but it was obvious that they weren't actually members.
Instead, they were the other plane enemies who disguised themselves as Vegan Life. That was the reason they managed to avoid detection and involve themselves in the battlefield.
With a large crowd in the siege and the fact that Vegan Life was the insider, there was no way other people would have noticed them.
Seeing the scene, Xu Feng nodded and realized how pathetic he was. Even after gaining a second chance, he still fell for the oldest trick in the book.
Not to mention, he failed to understand that some people tend to not give a damn about profit and relationships. They wouldn't even care if they would self-destruct as long as they dealt enough chaos and damage.

"Who are you?" Xu Feng shifted his gaze toward CarnageBound and asked.
"Heh, you don't even know who I am?" Humored, CarnageBound raised his chin up. A small character like Xu Feng naturally didn't deserve to know someone of his capability.
However, CarnageBound was too naive and misunderstood the intent of Xu Feng's question.
"Why would I know some human trash?" Xu Feng chuckled. "Or are you the type to name your trash before tossing it aside? If so, then allow me to apologize. I didn't know you could be such a cute person."
