Well... Where do I begin. I luv writing this book. Rather, I luv writing in general. I had never actually been good at writing and was abysmal when I began writing (Check out the first chapter of my COTE fanfic to understand.)
I had created the character Asher in my mind nearly for a year, writing a fanfic on it. But, like... It was mid. And I didn't know where I was going with it. So I made a remake, a bit more determined to see it through. I knew that, among the regression, reactions and transmigrations of other characters from other novels fics, an OC fics in SS were... lacking. Why? Because, the reader has to find the OC interesting and grow to like him continue reading while the other fics completely removes this issue.
But, I wanted to make one regardless. For the creative freedom. AND GOD AM I HAPPY! Like, I swear, despite my regular absence and breaks due to my current schdule with boarding school, most of you guys stayed! I can't believe these many had the patience to wait for a new chapter about an idea I thought on a whip.
Fun fact, I had thought about the unknown as dahila idea before the reveal of the dream god, and the canon narration made it even betterr. And that was why Asher's knowledge was so limited. Because I made him in volume 5. Also, I kinda had to say this, because, I don't think I made Gunlaug's death clear and I didn't have an opportunity for a character to ask Asher about it. So bascally, Asher kinda limited the oxygen/ or air from reaching Gunlaug since he didn't move much causing a pressure drop and making Gunlaug gasp for breath. It sounds Op, but you gotta realize, most NCs and Masters/ saints and breathe for A WHILE.
I was suprised due to the initial rise of the fic. And it grew to be so popular that, I got fan art of Asher??!!! When I first saw it, my jaw literally dropped. How many fanfic authers can brag about having fanart for their OC. VERY LOW!!! (Fanfic authors reading this, comment a 'dang.' for me pls)
