Shen Heyu’s eyes trembled fiercely.
Pei Yansi actually kissed her, and after being stunned for two seconds, he quickly reacted, making a fist with one hand and pounding hard against Pei Yansi’s chest.
But Pei Yansi caught Shen Heyu’s wrist with one hand, lifting both her hands above her head.
Pei Yansi’s kisses were fierce, almost sucking out the last bit of sweetness from her mouth.
Shen Heyu’s mouth was sealed by him, but she still tried to bring back Pei Yansi’s sanity, but every word she uttered between her lips was devoured by Pei Yansi.
Just when Pei Yansi kissed Shen Heyu as if he couldn’t bear to part with her, a voice suddenly rang out from behind, like an invisible knife, trying to split them apart.
Hearing Chen Lingmeng’s voice, Shen Heyu forcefully broke free from Pei Yansi’s restraint, put her hands against his chest, and pushed him backwards.
Chen Lingmeng controlled her wheelchair and approached them.
Her eyes, feigning innocence, were wide open. She looked at Pei Yansi for a while, then looked at Shen Heyu incredulously, a malicious glint flashing quickly through her eyes.
She spoke, her tone so innocent and pitiful it engendered guilt, "Shen Heyu, how could you do this? You know that I’m about to marry Pei Yansi!"
"How could you seduce him at such a critical moment? Do you think you’re being fair to me? I know you’re his ex-wife, but you are already divorced from him."
"Are you still not letting him go after your divorce? Don’t you already have a new love?"
Chen Lingmeng’s voice was breaking as tears welled up in her eyes, a tear the size of a bean slipping down from inside her eyes.
She bit her soft lip, looking as if she was about to burst into tears, fixating on Shen Heyu’s lip which had turned a reddish hue from the kissing.
Though Chen Lingmeng was nominally Pei Yansi’s fiancée, Pei Yansi had never touched even a single strand of her hair.
Yet the man who was about to marry her was now entangled with his ex-wife, even passionately kissing in the vicinity of a shopping mall’s restroom.
Shen Heyu glanced at her tear-filled eyes and raised a hand to wipe her own mouth.
Her soft lip had turned a reddish hue from Pei Yansi’s kisses and was still slightly warm.
"I didn’t seduce him," Shen Heyu simply clarified.
"If it wasn’t you who seduced him, could it be that Brother Yan Si still can’t let go of you? Don’t flatter yourself!"
"You’re just jealous that Brother Yan Si is gradually accepting me, even willing to take me to the mall. You must have heard it from somewhere, so you deliberately staged this encounter today to seduce him!"
"Shen Heyu, because of a car accident, I’ve become a cripple. If you still have a conscience, please let me and Brother Yan Si be, and stop disrupting our peaceful lives."
Chen Lingmeng unintentionally tightened her grip on the armrest of the wheelchair, her fingernails turning white.
Shen Heyu took a deep breath, feeling a wave of suffocation inside her. She glanced at Pei Yansi, said nothing, and turned to leave.
The moment she lifted her foot to go, Pei Yansi instinctively started to follow.
"Brother Yan Si!" Chen Lingmeng called out to Pei Yansi with a piercing voice, but Pei Yansi did not stop.
Chen Lingmeng frantically tried to grab Pei Yansi’s hand, momentarily losing control of the wheelchair and spinning in circles in the distance, reaching out one hand towards the disappearing figure of Pei Yansi.
Watching Pei Yansi walk toward Shen Heyu, Chen Lingmeng bit her teeth hard.
She called out to Pei Yansi loudly, "Pei Yansi! Everyone in this world can abandon me, but you alone cannot neglect me."
That sentence, indeed, just like Pei Yansi’s figure, stopped abruptly without warning, but he did not turn around.
He had his back to Chen Lingmeng.
If only he would stop walking, that would be enough. Chen Lingmeng took a deep breath, regained her sanity, and maneuvered her wheelchair closer to him.

With a long sigh of relief, Shen Heyu slowly straightened up, her face pale as she shook her head at Lu Yi.
"Maybe I’m just tired from walking around the mall today. Let’s rest for a bit, shall we?"
Shen Heyu desperately wanted to leave the mall now. As long as she and Pei Yansi remained together, it seemed as though destiny conspired so that no matter where they went, they could unintentionally encounter each other.
Lu Yi saw through the emotion hidden in Shen Heyu’s eyes, but he did not expose it, instead gently offering a comforting smile.
Shen Heyu did not choose to enter the mall’s coffee shop; instead, she opted to go to a café opposite the mall.
