Lu Yi looked angrily at Chen Wenzhou. Chen Wenzhou, unconcerned, sat down opposite him. He called the waiter leisurely, ordered a coffee, and looked up to meet Lu Yi’s furious, fiery gaze.
"Eaten gunpowder? Why the explosive temper? Did something happen again?" Every time Lu Yi came to find Chen Wenzhou, it was never good.
For Chen Wenzhou, Lu Yi’s only use was to firmly tie up Shen Heyu and separate her completely from Pei Yansi—that way, his sister Chen Lingmeng would be happy.
Beyond that, Lu Yi was utterly useless to Chen Wenzhou.

Lu Yi roared angrily at Chen Wenzhou, who just laughed it off nonchalantly upon hearing the scolding.
"Did you come here today just to yell at me? If you’re done venting, then I’m leaving." Chen Wenzhou didn’t have time to sit around listening to nonsense. He got up to leave, and Lu Yi hurriedly stopped him.

"Speak directly and get to the point. I’m in a rush, you know? I have another important engagement soon. It’s significant that I’m even here," Chen Wenzhou coldly reminded, as Lu Yi pounded the table with his clenched fist, causing it to tremble.
"I want you to give me the antidote for Yuexue." Lu Yi finally stated the main point.
After sitting down and hearing Lu Yi continuously talk about Yuexue, Chen Wenzhou had a good guess. Yet when Lu Yi spoke, it still amused him. He picked up his coffee and leisurely took a sip, assessing Lu Yi.
"You’re not thinking of detoxifying Yuexue, are you? Just a heads up, Yuexue is the penalty for keeping Shen Heyu obedient. If you think you can get me to detoxify her early, that’s not going to happen."
Once Yuexue is detoxified, Shen Heyu would be completely out of control, and she might reconnect with Pei Yansi. Seeing the two of them entangled again would corner Chen Lingmeng into a dead end.
"No," Lu Yi denied, his face looking rather unsightly.
"I don’t want to detoxify her. I want to use the antidote to get Shen Heyu to agree to a condition—immediately tie the knot with me," Lu Yi awkwardly disclosed.
Hearing him finish, Chen Wenzhou burst into laughter, trembling with hilarity.
