After Shen Heyu said these words, tears streamed down her eyes, but Lu Yi was so happy he was nearly laughing madly.
"Shen Heyu, what did you just say? You’ve finally agreed to sleep with me. We’ve been registered as married for quite a while, but you have never let me touch you. Now you’ve finally nodded in agreement, and we are about to become a true husband and wife."
Lu Yi excitedly grabbed Shen Heyu’s shoulders, but his touch only made Shen Heyu feel sick and repulsed. She subconsciously winced and took a step back.
She hung her head low, biting her pale lips hard, mustering all her strength to support her slender body.
At that moment, she felt like a reed in the wind, ready to snap at any time.

"You said that yourself. If you lie to me, I will never forgive you in this lifetime," Shen Heyu bit her lips tightly, while Lu Yi kept his gaze on her face.

He looked at his phone, and seeing the caller, he frowned impatiently. He rejected the call and opened his arms again towards Shen Heyu.
Shen Heyu instinctively thought to dodge, just as the soul-stirring phone began to vibrate again.
Lu Yi frowned, cursed under his breath, and pulled out his phone. "What the hell is Chen Wenzhou up to?"
Although Shen Heyu had been coerced, she hadn’t really prepared herself mentally. The thought of having to sleep with Lu Yi made her want to bash her head against a clean piece of glass.
Shen Heyu disliked Chen Wenzhou so much, but now she was regarding him as her savior. She quietly suggested to Lu Yi, "Maybe you should answer the phone first. It might be something important."

Impatiently accepting the call, Lu Yi turned his back and took a few steps to the balcony. He had some matters with Chen Wenzhou that he preferred Shen Heyu not hear, so he kept his distance from her.
"Say what you need to say, I have other matters waiting for me."
"What could you possibly be doing? I’ve sent the location to your phone. Come out and meet me now, I want to talk to you face to face."
"Do we have to meet right now? Can’t we just clear things up over the phone? Do you not realize I have something far more important awaiting me here?" Lu Yi tried to refute.
He looked back at Shen Heyu. Had it not been for his words, he would have tasted Shen Heyu’s lips by now.
"I’m at the coffee shop waiting for you, don’t make me wait too long. You know my patience is limited." Chen Wenzhou ignored Lu Yi’s words, hung up the call, and hearing his arrogant attitude, Lu Yi clenched his fist tightly and slammed it on the railing.
Left with no choice since Chen Wenzhou had spoken like that, Lu Yi dared not refuse. Who knew what that crazy man might do? Lu Yi reluctantly rushed to the coffee shop.
"What urgent business did you need to discuss in person? You had better talk about something important. Do you realize you just interrupted me at a critical moment? If it were not for you, my deal with Shen Heyu would have been sealed."

Upon hearing this nonsense, Lu Yi couldn’t help but furrow his brow fiercely. "You rush me here urgently to talk about this drivel? Are you playing me, Chen Wenzhou?"
"I’m not playing with you. I’m just concerned about my business partner," said Chen Wenzhou. "I was wondering if you needed any help. I wouldn’t mind lending you a hand."
Lu Yi stood up angrily. Chen Wenzhou’s actions were nothing short of mocking, but he dared not articulate his anger.
"You’re a fucking lunatic. Don’t call me again unless it’s important. I have other things to attend to."
