The moment Pei Yansi kissed her, Shen Heyu’s mind went blank. Like a puppet, she widened her eyes at the handsome face that loomed before her.
It took Shen Heyu a while to realize that they were kissing, and they were standing right at the hotel room door that Lu Yi had opened. She didn’t know when Lu Yi would come over, and if he saw this scene, he would surely be furious.
Given Lu Yi’s current mental state, Shen Heyu was really worried that if he lost control of his emotions, he might do something drastic. If he directed his anger at her, Shen Heyu wasn’t afraid, but she feared that he might hurt Yuexue.

“What are you doing, are you crazy? What right do you have to kiss me now? Do you know if I call the police now, I could accuse you of sexual harassment?” Shen Heyu anxiously took several steps back, maintaining a safe distance from Pei Yansi as she vigilantly watched him, wiping her lips forcefully.
“Does my touch disgust you that much? But don’t forget, you came to the hotel today to sleep with Lu Yi. You don’t like him at all. I noticed when Lu Yi was at my company door that day, the relation between you two had already turned icy.”

“What then, if it’s not as I said? You only cherish what you’ve lost. If so, why are you still pestering me? You could find other women, with your status, what kind of woman can’t you have?”
“Even if you aren’t looking for other women, there are women who would do anything to be by your side. Isn’t Miss Chen Lingmeng of the Chen family the perfect example?”
“Shen Heyu, are you angry about the engagement rumors between Chen Lingmeng and me? I assure you, we won’t get married. I was just gathering evidence concerning the accident that happened last time. I now have very concrete evidence.”
“Once I break off the engagement with her, will you come back to me? I can’t imagine a life without you.”
