Sheng Ning had come out on a whim and hadn’t put on a coat, only a red sweater.
Standing in the snow field, she was as beautiful as a painting.

After he finished speaking and draped the coat over her, Meng Ping shook his head and came completely to his senses.
He wished he could slap himself. He was supposed to come here to reprimand this wretched girl, so why the hell did he give her his coat? He was cold without his coat, too.
Meng Ping cursed and despised himself inwardly, but he didn’t think about taking the coat back.
Although he hadn’t thought about it, Sheng Ning would not accept his kind gesture. The coat on her shoulders still carried Meng Ping’s warmth, a scorching heat that could burn her.
“Shut up! Don’t flatter yourself.” Sheng Ning said coldly, brushing off Meng Ping’s hand aside, and eagerly returning the coat to him.
Her repulsion toward Meng Ping was even greater than toward Shen Jianguo.
“What are you doing?” Meng Ping’s face turned icy in an instant, looking terrifyingly chilling. “Do you despise me, Meng Ping, and prefer the ‘Living Yama’?”
“That’s right! Compared to Xu Qigang, you’re lacking, not just by a hundred thousand but by a million times.” Sheng Ning had always been calm until Meng Ping broke that calm. She tried desperately to avoid him, determined not to have any involvement with him in this lifetime.

“Don’t let me see you again!” Sheng Ning said harshly, turning her head to see the young girl watching her with a timid and complex gaze.
“Comrade, please don’t do such things in the future.” Leaving the warning behind, Sheng Ning strode away, completely indifferent to how ugly Meng Ping’s expression had become.
“Damn it!” Meng Ping punched the trunk of a fir tree, as snowflakes fluttered down from the branches, shadowing his handsome face with gloom.
“Brother…” The little girl shivered with fear.
“This has nothing to do with you, go back!” he said.
“Okay!” The little girl nodded, gathering her courage to say, “You should go back, too!”
“Right!” He had indeed dillydallied too long; if he didn’t return now, the family would come looking for him.
Before leaving, Meng Ping took one last look at training room number one, his deep eyes burning with an eerie flame.
The more she behaved , the more he was determined to have her.
