"Someone is following her!" He couldn’t possibly rest easy with her out alone at this hour.
Xu Qigang handed Qin Yue a cigarette, then tossed him the lighter. "Did President Su send you?"
"That’s a secret!" Qin Yue smirked annoyingly, and Xu Qigang felt an itch in his hands. Two years hadn’t seen each other, and rumors said he had made quite a name for himself in the Southern parts, with many changes, yet that annoying personality hadn’t changed a bit.
"Alright then, keep guarding your secret." In truth, Xu Qigang could guess pretty accurately the nature of Qin Yue’s mission without asking.
Xu Qigang, having said that, turned to leave but was yanked back by Qin Yue. "Hey! Don’t you think it’s a bit ungracious of you? I’ve come all the way from the South, and you don’t even offer to treat me to a meal or a drink?"
