Diamond ignored Ruby, who was complaining and looked at her parents, who also seemed to be interested in her reason for coming downstairs.

Richard didn’t say anything while Ruby was afraid of being bullied by her sister with words. She didn’t want to suffer another defeat, so she just waited for Diamond to spill the beans.
"The bodyguards I told you about previously are finally here. They will be here in an hour or so."
Upon hearing that, Belinda jumped from the couch and looked at Diamond accusatorially.
Diamond narrowed her eyes as she looked at her mother. What did she do for her to look at her like that?
"Why didn’t you say it sooner?" Belinda complained as she placed her hands on her waist.
When Diamond heard that, she somehow relaxed, seeing that the issue wasn’t that serious.
"They just called me now. How was I supposed to know that they would be dropping so early?" Diamond grumbled.
It wasn’t like it was her fault. Who knew that these people would come earlier than when she was expecting?
"You .... Anyway, let go and check everything again at the cottage!" Belinda urged everyone as she walked away.
’It’s going to be a long day!’ Diamond lamented as she followed her mother.
On the other side, inside a certain Uber, three individuals, two men and one woman wearing black were busy typing on their phones, rendering the driver speechless.
