Jiang Xiaoqing turned around blankly before Gu Nian could say anything.
Gu Nian's eyes were half lowered. Her features that were normally pretty in a languid way had a hint of coldness and distance in them today.

"I apologize. I just got a last-minute call. Sorry to keep you waiting." The middle-aged male producer looked to be around 30s ~ 40s and had a very friendly smile.
Jiang Xiaoqing, with a very affectionate smile, said smoothly to him, "It's alright. It's alright. It allowed us to talk about how to pass our upcoming 'interview'."
The male producer smiled. "There's no interview. It's just a formality. We liked tis project a lot internally so there is nothing for you to worry about."
Pleasantly surprised, Jiang Xiaoqing and Qin Yuanyuan exchanged a look.
Gu Nian, standing behind the two, her eyes narrowed with alert. Looking at the male producer, she asked in discomfort, "Where are we going next to talk?"

The floor took the elevator up and walked into a small conference room. This temporary conference room wasn't very big, perhaps around 20 or so square meters in size. There were three leather seats on both sides of the oval-shaped conference table.
There was already a middle-aged man also in his 40s sitting in a chair on the far right.
He turned and got up when he heard the door opened.
