The man’s face went from defiance to confusion in an instant. His friends, who had been trembling slightly under Horo’s glare, now looked even more panicked as they caught the weight of what was just said. Horo’s smirk was the only thing they saw as their minds scrambled to process the information.
one of them stammered, glancing at his friends, who were equally dumbfounded.
Horo slowly lowered the knife, his grin never faltering.
"You heard me. Now, tell your ’BanditKing’ to come at me. I would just love to prove why I am Number 1~"
The man’s arrogance was gone in a flash. His mouth opened, but nothing came out. The earlier bravado had evaporated into fear, and for good reason—being Rank 1 on the leaderboards meant something in a game . If BanditKing was really third, that meant there was definitely a gap in their skill levels.
If BanditKing could defeat them within a few minutes, ’Ouroboros’ would be able to sweep through them in seconds.
"W-We’ll disappear sir. You won’t see us ever again!"
One of the men stammered as a river of sweat poured down from his face. He looked like he was ready to run but was petrified to the spot as the murderous gazes of Nyx, Leo and Luna were trained on them. Sonata was quietly checking up on Lily, making sure that she was okay.
Lily felt her cheeks were a bit flushed and her heart was beating very fast. She hadn’t been all that surprised that Horo had immediately stepped in but she was surprised her chest was feeling as tight as it was.
Seeing that she was indeed okay, albeit with a slight flush, Horo motioned with his knife for the men to scram.
"Get out of here. I don’t want to see you again."
He hissed coldly, mentally taking note of each man’s appearance. Wasting no time, the men bowed and nodded their heads frantically before they practically began tripping over themselves as they tried to get away.
Nyx watching these men more than twice her age scrambling to flee couldn’t help but giggle

Leo’s cheeks flushed slightly as Nyx nudged him with her elbow. Why was she trying to make such a crude joke here of all places while they were surrounded by people. He did not fault Horo for acting the way he did but his actions had inadvertently led to them causing a scene.

However, the bystanders had a different reaction as shock coursed through them at the reveal. With the revelation that the Handsome scum was Ouroboros, the scantily clad mage was Nyx and the feminine catboy was Leo, they realized that this was a party consisting solely of the top ranked players.
The crowd began to murmur, the sounds of cameras clicking began to echo in the surroundings. Seeing this, Luna had a frown on her face as she growled
"We aren’t an exhibit for you to treat like a zoo!"
Despite her anger, the crowd seemed unphased as they began to ask her a barrage of questions.
"Oh? How do you know Leo and the rest of the party?"
"How old are you sweetheart?"
"Are you Lily? I want to see your pet Moku. I heard he is at the top of the unofficial cuteness ranking!"
Luna trembled as she tried to calm her boiling rage. It was when someone made a careless remark.
"It must be tough being surrounded by curvier older sisters. Don’t worry little one day you might surpass them."
Kogetsukiba slammed into the ground as Luna started howling
"Who the fuck said that?! MOTHERFUCKER SHOW YOURSELF! I WILL END YOUR BLOODLINE HERE AND NOW!"
This time it was Nyx and Leo who were forced to hold Luna back as she tried to threaten the crowd with her axe. Now panicked, the crowd began to disperse in fear of getting hit by what they could only describe as a ’mentally unstable loli bunny girl’
It took a few minutes for Luna to recompose herself. She coughed lightly as she tried to act as if nothing happened.
"We should hand in that dungeon quest, Eat and then test to see if Leo can log out again."
Sonata looked confused as to why everyone else had a seriously sombre expression on their faces.
"What’s this about logging out? Can’t Leo log out like the rest of us? Is he in a death game sort of situation? Trapped in the game?!"
Sonata’s panic began to escalate as darker and darker possibilities began to cloud her thoughts.
Leo shook his head as he patted Sonata’s shoulder.
"It’s nothing like that Sonata. You know how I said I was dead for a few minutes before?"
Sonata narrowed her eyes as she softly nodded her head.
"Well when I left the game before...I kinda started feeling pretty crappy."
"’Pretty Crappy?! Leo you were bleeding from your freakin EYES"
Luna shouted in exasperation, clearly annoyed that Leo was trying to downplay the condition.
Lily added while Nyx also chimed in with some annoyance in her tone directed towards Leo
Sonata looked aghast while Leo looked a little bit sheepish at being called out like that.
"A-anyways. Let’s go find the chief and then we can find a place to make some food!"
Leo immediately decided it was best to try and change the topic, running away as the girls shot him disdainful glances at his cowardice.
Horo too had a smirk on his face as he felt some karma was served.
