Joining The Family (入家门)
Jing Yun Zhao didn’t know, but Li Shao Yun was already trying to guess what was troubling her.
The problems around Jing Yun Zhao were indeed numerous, especially that bastard foster father of hers, but when he was still in Hua Ning County, he had already interfered by teaching the man a lesson by ruining the Qiao family’s factory. He made sure that no matter what Qiao Wei Min did, he would never profit from it.
However, this problem was still Jing Yun Zhao’s family matters in the end, so it wasn’t too appropriate for him to be too obvious in his actions. Otherwise, Qiao Wei Min would have already been six feet under.
Although this man is indeed very hateful, Jing Yun Zhao isn’t a vegetarian, so the fluctuations in her mood shouldn’t be related to him. As for that non-blood-related younger sister of hers? That’s even more impossible. He had investigated it before, and although the other had many schemes in mind, it would be quite a feat for her to be able to threaten Jing Yun Zhao as she was right now.
Jing Yun Zhao pursed her lips, momentarily at a loss of words.
“It’s a private matter. Li-shao, I don’t really want to satisfy your curiosity right now.” After a few moments had passed, Jing Yun Zhao suddenly smiled as she replied.
“You’re really…” Li Shao Yun was seething at her attitude, looking as if he was going to explode, but in the next moment, he suddenly smiled widely. “Jing Yun Zhao, you’re really getting cuter as each day passes. This young master will still know even if you refuse to tell me, but by then, the consequences might be more severe.”
These same words, Li Shao Yun had said them previously as well. For example, when they were at the hospital, he would always threaten her as if the aftermath of offending him would be hard to imagine, but so far, nothing ever happened.
Li Shao Yun was just a young master with a temper, flipping out once in a while. This personality of his could be either good or bad, depending on the situation. To her, his threats weren’t actually as ‘powerful’ as he thought.
Li Shao Yun had seemingly gotten used to Jing Yun Zhao’s attitude of not giving much care to his threats, so he just continued to chat with her in his own way as usual.
The two wouldn’t talk much every time, but the strange thing was that it seemed as if time would pass very quickly, plus Jing Yun Zhao would become more rational.
This guy would always, very easily, evoke the gears in her mind to turn more smoothly.
Thus, after he hung up, she felt like she had pretty much calmed down and even came to a conclusion.
Past lives weren’t the present; she’d roll with it.
The next morning, before heading to Shui Chang Village, Jing Yun Zhao went to buy some greeting gifts besides the two bottles of wine and some fruits that she already had.
The village was very isolated and it was considered the village that had the worst development in Hua Ning County. When Jing Yun Zhao arrived at her stop, she gave Jing Tie Jun a call, and it didn’t take long for him to drive a rented vehicle to fetch her back to the Jing family home.
It consisted of a large courtyard and five single-story houses, with many odds and ends littering the yard as well as two motorcycles. The moment she entered the main door, she could see the central house that was a little dark as if light couldn’t enter. Wang Xin Fang was busy making preparations for lunch, and there were three children in the yard. The moment she arrived, very soon, many people stopped outside the door and looked in.
She originally felt a little ill at ease, but after the conversation with Li Shao Yun yesterday, there wasn’t a moment of fluctuation in her mood anymore.
She directly walked in, and just when she was about to give the three children the gifts she had prepared-
“So you’re Eldest Sister?!” -the youngest boy had already spoken up. The voice of the 10-year-old child was mildly tender, but his eyes seemed to be closely examining her. His attitude completely shouted ‘I am supreme!’.
However, after he received his gift, he looked at his two older sisters and snorted loudly, “These are all mine, right!”
Jing Yun Zhao raised an eyebrow. She hated bear children, especially ones that hadn’t learned to be civilized and were disobedient.
10 years-old, it couldn’t be considered young. As expected, this was the result of the spoiled education of his male favouring family.
“It’s not.” Jing Yun Zhao’s tone was indifferent as she answered, “Your gift is already in your hands, there aren’t any more.”
