If they hadn’t heard about it from the rest of the unit, seeing the couple who outwardly showed no change — the man with his usual stoic face, the woman cheerfully greeting familiar people all the way down the road — they wouldn’t seem like a couple who had just divorced. They looked perfectly like a normal couple.
Commonly, a couple who has divorced this rapidly should be quarreling, red in the face, wanting to avoid seeing each other for the rest of their lives, right? However, it seems that this logic doesn’t seem to apply to Zhilan and He Teng.
"Sister-in-law!" Kang Xing had been waiting outside the canteen with Niu Rang, waiting for He Teng to fetch Zhilan. As soon as he saw Zhilan, he immediately greeted her. Then, looking at her with some worry, he asked, "Sister-in-law, are you alright?"
