Not only did she know how much Zhilan loved her brother, but she also knew that a proud person like Zhilan would never do anything so brazen.

When He Zhilan smiled, it was a genuine smile. Especially when He Teng defended her just now, she felt like she had fallen into a honey pot, as even after she threw the first punch at Tang Tang, He Teng didn’t berate her at all. What’s more, he showed no doubt towards her despite Tang Tang’s words.
"Bro, do you really not worry at all, given how close Lin Chan and I are?" She quietly asked He Teng, who was engrossed in his meal, nudging him lightly with her elbow.
He Teng glanced at He Zhilan and didn’t reply, just continued eating.
