Han Qingsong’s eyes were dark and his breathing became quickened. He pushed her hands against the edge of the tank and wrapped her in his arms.
“At night…” He said in a low voice, “We’ll sleep in the west room.”
Lin Lan pretended that he was just a buzzing mosquito, but why did he really have to remind her now?!
Han Qingsong lowered his head and kissed her on the lips, “I’m going to work.”
“What are you guys eating?!” Sanwang just came in from outside and shouted.
Lin Lan quickly grabbed a red date and stuffed it into Han Qingsong’s mouth, “Your father wants to eat a red date, haha. Eat one and off to work you go.”
She pushed Han Qingsong and motioned him to go to work quickly.
Han Qingsong placed his large hand on her back and said to Sanwang with his usually stoic expression, “Listen to your mother,” After speaking, he left.
Sanwang ran into the house, “Mom, did father eat something good?”
Lin Lan tried her best to maintain a calm expression, “No, he just had a red date.”
Sanwang, “So you were the one who ate something better?”
There’s no end to this!
“Then why are you blushing? Even my father’s ears were all red.”
Lin Lan thought that it was absolutely impossible to do this. In the future, she had to set some ground rules for Han Qingsong. They absolutely couldn’t even try to make out during the day, lest the children misunderstand and affect them negatively. Although Sanwang didn’t talk about private parts anymore, the child was very curious. His interested gaze liked to roam around, so they definitely couldn’t be caught.
She quickly flushed a bowl of sugar water and called Sanwang and Xiaowang over to have some.
Sanwang smiled, “Mom is bribing me, I see. Don’t worry, I won’t tell my big brother that you secretly ate some candy.”
Fortunately, Sanwang was not sensible when it came to anything other than eating and playing, so his attention was immediately drawn by the dessert.
At noon, after lunch, Han Qingsong moved the basin to Lin Lan’s new home. The new home was basically tidied up and could be lived in. The remaining ends could be gradually improved over time.
Lin Lan moved the brisk quilts, clothes and pots over, leaving the larger items left in the old house.
Standing in the yard and looking at her new house, Lin Lan felt more at ease.
The red walls and black tiles were plastered with lime and cement to prevent water seepage. There were tiles on the roof, which were warm and strong, and they would not leak in the future. It was both safe and beautiful as it even stood out from the crowds of dark ,mud-walled thatched huts.
The foundations of the three main rooms were raised by half a meter to prevent backflow during heavy rainstorms. There was also a room next to the west room, so a separate suite could be added in the future.
The courtyard wall, the south house and the latrine were made of blue bricks and stones, neatly and beautifully arranged.
The gate of the courtyard was positioned at the southeast corner and there was a? wall that blocked them from prying eyes as a stone road was extended from the gate.
In front of the south wall was a row of small, south houses, which were used to store grass, household clutter and other sundries. Now, there were piles of wood clumped together as household clutter. In the southwest corner was a latrine and a stone-built pen. No pigs were raised, but chickens and ducks could be temporarily reared.
There were no east and west compartments, so the yard was very wide. She could probably grow some flowers and vegetables with the space.
