Han Qingyun laughed loudly, “Boyfriend?”
Maisui slapped Sanwang and said, “Stop making stupid gestures; look at how dirty your stained hands are.”
Sanwang had already taken Han Qingyun aside to discuss the boyfriend issue to see if he could make some money from his uncle.
After a while, Lin Lan got up, got dressed and came down to wash her face.
Seeing that Han Qingyun was there, she couldn’t help but blush as she got up later than her children. Now that she was caught, she didn’t know what to do but laughed at herself silently.
She calmly said hello to Han Qingyun and went to wash her face.
Han Qingyun looked at Lin Lan’s blushing face and thought to himself, why is sister-in-law looking at me and blushing? Have I become more handsome? He subconsciously touched his face, only to find that Han Qingsong was looking at him.
Han Qingyun was startled. Why was there something wrong with the way the Third Brother was looking at him? With such a cold expression, it was almost as if he was a bad guy.
Han Qingsong, “It’s time for you to go home and eat.”
Han Qingyun smiled and said, “I’m not hungry yet.”
Lin Lan was polite as she offered, “Qingyun, please stay and eat. The big silver carp that was given to us tastes marvellous when cooked by Erwang.”
Han Qingyun was very excited as if his tail was wagging towards Lin Lan.
Han Qingsong, “He goes home to eat.”
Han Qingyun immediately said after that, “Sister-in-law, I had a late dinner and didn’t sleep at all last night, so I’m not really hungry now.”
Hearing that he had pulled an all-nighter, Lin Lan admired him very much, “Qingyun, aren’t you something? You can even stay awake for an entire night?”
Han Qingyun waved his arms and gestured, “Sister-in-law, I am young and my body is strong.”
Sanwang was still shouting, “Then do you want to be my mother’s boyfriend?”
Han Qingsong’s face turned dark as he looked at Han Qingyun, “You— go back to eat.”
Han Qingyun, “Third Brother treats me so well, always looking out for me. Alright, sister-in-law, I’m going home. Come over and hang out when you have the time; my mother and wife miss you.”
Lin Lan smiled and waved to him, “I’ll go chat with them after dinner.”
As soon as she met Han Qingsong’s eyes after turning around, she smiled. Then, she prepared to deal with the brat named Sanwang.
Han Qingyun left, but Sanwang was still there imitating his movements, waving his arms and touching his own big arms as he said to Lin Lan, “Mother, look at me, am I strong enough to be your boyfriend?”
After getting some cream, Lin Lan came over and touched Han Qingsong’s ears. His pinnas were red from the cold from the time he went out. They would be burned by the fire and uneven temperatures would easily cause frostbite. Hence, she planned to apply some cream to moisturise them.
Han Qingsong’s ears turned redder and there was even a trace of a blush forming on his cheeks, but it was not obvious due to the dim light.
Lin Lan pinched Sanwang’s arm and grabbed his ear with one hand, “Compared to your father, you are far from even qualifying into the category. You are not allowed to say the word ‘boyfriend’ in the future.”
The word ‘compared’ pleased Han Qingsong quite a bit and his darkened face gradually relaxed.
Sanwang begged for mercy, “Mother, please spare my life, but what exactly is a boyfriend?”
