After all, as long as Han Yongfang was invited to judge the situation, he had the final say. Otherwise, moving against him would make him lose his reputation and any matter that required his aid in the future would probably not be fulfilled.
Then Han Yongfang made the decision to have Eldest Brother Han’s family live in the east wing temporarily. As they apply for preparation materials for a new house and wait in line, the place they live in could temporarily be considered theirs.

So, the housework at home fell on Old Lady Han and Han Jinyu
It was Mrs. Han who set the rules herself— the men in the Han family never did the housework as only the women did it. At this very moment, the rules were set for her and her daughter.
Besides, when the harvests get busy, Eldest Brother Han and Old Man Han would have to go to the fields and wouldn’t have the time to cook or wash clothes.
They wouldn’t know how to anyways.
This was still considered okay for Old Lady Han. After all, she started out as a daughter-in-law herself. Although she hadn’t done chores for practically twenty years, she still knew how to do them.
But Han Jinyu’s heart was set as high as the sky. She had never done any work since she was born. She had always positioned herself as a young lady of a rich family.

Therefore, Han Jinyu didn’t take any advantage when it came to Second Sister-in-law Han. When Old Lady Han wanted to scold her, the words from her mouth weren’t as smooth as Eldest Sister-in-law regarding rebuttals.
The Second Brother Han was not as honest as the Eldest Brother. If asked to beat his wife, he would run away faster than a rabbit.
Furthermore, Lin Lan and Eldest Sister-in-law Han set an example in front of them. They dared to use them and their daughters, so they, in turn, grabbed an axe and flipped the table respectively.
Old Lady Han had no choice but to sigh and wipe her tears, “This old life of mine is suffering so much. I have three sons but none to serve me and I still need to cook and clean the place myself? How agonising.”
Han Jinyu, on the other hand, wanted nothing more than to get married. She hoped that she could find a suitor who came from a good background in order to avoid working in the fields all day.
She had no choice but to require help from Han Qingsong in this matter.
She fully realised that she could not force Han Qingsong to submit through forceful means. In other words, she had to lower her frame and beg.
Upon realising this, she was really, really sad. She cried all night before finally making up her mind— even if Lin Lan bullied her again and gave her nothing but blank looks, she would have to hold back and ask Lin Lan to help her.
