A big long snake is dashing out towards Jeremy in a zig-zag manner. Jeremy is using his eye ability. His awakened talent kicked in. His senses were all heightened.
He could clearly see the movements of the black snake. Then he began to look for its weakest part. The scales of Tier-4 beasts are usually hard.
This black snake had crystal-like scales covering its body. Jeremy doesn't have time to experiment. He wants to kill the beast in a few moves.
Otherwise, the Tier-4 beast could cause havoc in the students' camp. He doesn't want to see any casualties occur.
With his eye ability, he found a weakness. But it's also a common weakness of every living creature: the head and brain.
Jeremy decides to target its eye.
In the blink of an eye, the beast got faster and closer. Jeremy raised his katana to attack. They came closer with a few meters distance between them.
The black snake opened its wide mouth to swallow its prey in an instant. The mouth was so big that it could swallow two or three humans at the same time.
Jeremy's eyes turned cold.
The next second, he exploded with great speed. The thrust provided him with huge force. He evaded the snake's wide mouth by side stepping at the last moment.
Right after, the katana in his hand danced before coming in contact with the left vertical pupil of the snake. This all happened within seconds.
The starlight-filled blade penetrates the snake's pupil.
Blood splattered on the ground. The starlight-covered blade felt no resistance before piercing through the brain of the beast.
The next second, the snake's other eye became dull. The huge body dropped to the ground. The snake's life came to an end with some lingering nerve activity.
From beginning to end, it took only a couple of seconds to slay the beast. The attack was smooth as fluid.
Jeremy sighs in relief, seeing the huge dead corpse of the Tier-4 snake beside him. If he had been one step late or made a mistake, the snake would have swallowed him.
Jeremy then unsheathed his sword.
A loud exclamation sounded from the camp. All the first-year students were frozen and petrified in the same spot.
The men and women each widened their eyes in disbelief. How could a Tier-1 Beast Tamer kill Tier-4 beasts?
But Jeremy Night proved it before their eyes.
Jacob Henry saw the whole thing. He sighed in relief.
"He has done it again," Jacob said to himself.
Beside him, Ariel Burt was dumbstruck. She had heard of Jeremy's strength from Jacob before. Now she was speechless after watching the fight.
More than the kill, she was amazed by the process. Jeremy Night had done it neatly without breaking a sweat.
The middle-aged woman of the Elemental Department was shocked to the core. The kill was more impressive than the duel footage.
Even the experienced veterans couldn't pull off a perfect kill.
"It's excellent combat awareness," the control department instructor said in a serious tone.
He too felt that watching in real life was better than the video footage.
The protectors who were fighting against the Tier-5 corrupted beasts watched the kill as well. They were truly impressed.
They too knew about some of the things happening inside the campus, so Jeremy Night's name was not new to them.
The next second, they started to deal with the black snake beasts again.
The first-year students began to recover from the shock.
"He did something unimaginable!"
"He has killed a Tier-4 beast."
"Jeremy Night created another record."
"So he was not bluffing earlier. That's why he made a condition for the two S-Graders."
The students discussed in low tones. They didn't know that their words had reached the ears of May Lindsey and Victor Scott.
May Lindsey's whole body was trembling in fear. She was frozen upon seeing the massive Tier-4 snake, which was the size of a small building.
But Jeremy Night was able to kill the Tier-4 beast successfully. She now truly recognized the gap between her and Jeremy Night.
On the other hand, Victor Scott was going through the same emotions. The person whom he had underestimated at the entrance exam had grown up to this level.
His eyes flashed with fear. He felt fortunate that he hadn't had many interactions with Jeremy Night. If they had enmity, it would have been the worst thing.
Right now, he suppressed the fear in his heart. He realized that it was impossible to surpass Jeremy Night anytime soon.
One more person was trembling in fear. The person was none other than Romeo Barrett. He had seen something unimaginable.
He was petrified on the spot. The classmates behind him were gasping in surprise. They had once made fun of Jeremy Night.
Now they were scared. They understood why Jeremy Night was so daring. He didn't care about the senior students. Now they realized why.
Jeremy had the strength to fight against fourth-year students. He could easily handle them. Then what about them? They were truly regretting it right now.
Not only them, but the students of other departments were thinking the same. They couldn't undo the past, but from now on no one would dare to go against Jeremy Night.
Jeremy was standing in the same spot, looking at the fight ahead. If any Tier-4 beast slipped past the instructors, he would kill them.

"No wonder he didn't care about the senior students," Betsy Lowe said.
