Inside the practice room:
Jeremy opened his eyes a few hours later. Now his 2nd Rank Strength was stabilized. He could go out now. Fortunately, he had his own practice chamber inside his room.
Otherwise, he would have had to go outside. After coming outside, he went to the bathroom to take a shower. The bath lasted for 20 minutes.
He then stepped out and changed into comfortable clothes. Since he was in the room, he didn't have to wear the uniform.
Then he came to the living space and sat on the sofa. These days he had been observing what was going on in the city by watching the news.
He turned on the big screen and accessed news channels. There were many broadcasting media here. Finally, he set his gaze on one channel and started playing it.
By watching the news channels, he was learning a lot about this city, especially about the various different forces based here. There was Central University 10 located here as well.
He was interested in knowing their reactions. Someone at their age had joined their organization. But he thought that the talent here was much stronger than at Central University 14.
Apart from that, he had been hearing a lot of grim news as well. When it came to such news, there was tight control back at Central University 14.
The people living in City A, zone 14 wouldn't hear about the wilderness activities of the Beast Tamers unless there were big achievements or something.
But here, the news reporters were revealing the activities of major mercenary organizations, including the casualty reports.
The powerful beast tamers here were treated like celebrities. He had even learned names from the news.
Some of them were from the Sun Wheel Organization, which made him not underestimate the people here.
Each day they fought in the surrounding wilderness to protect the city. By watching the news, Jeremy felt the pressure.
Like he had guessed, there were going to be difficulties.
He then pushed down those thoughts before taking out the device. Suddenly, he noticed the unread messages. He opened the unread messages to read.
He sighed inwardly. He thought his parents would come here, but his father's Governor job was not an easy one. He understood that the Human Alliance needed a replacement.
Until then, he could only look after himself. But he was not afraid. Compared to the first day here, he was doing alright now.
He was eager to explore the place. The last message sent by Leader Gisela was the same. She wanted him to get ready the next morning.
Jeremy thought that he was probably going to explore the places around the city. Then he closed the message box before turning toward the big screen to watch the news.
He received a call from his father. His father told him about the meeting with Leader Gisela. He had asked for resignation. The Human Alliance would only accept it after finding a replacement.
Until then, both of his parents had to stay in City C. Jeremy assured his father that he would be fine. Then he spoke to his mother, who dearly missed him.
Jeremy then thought about University 14. He asked his father if he had received a call from them, but he told him that no one had bothered them.
"It appears Dean Carolyn has accepted the facts," Jeremy thought.
Then he spoke with them for a few more minutes before ending the call.
Central University 14:
Dean Carolyn was still thinking about Jeremy Night's departure. It had been abrupt at that time. She didn't have any backup plans. She had thought that the kid would return to complete his studies.
But to her surprise, the Head of the Shadow Moon Organization had denied it. That kid had become an official member of the organization.
He was going to shoulder the responsibility of the organization as well.
"That kid was still hasty. Maybe the situation here had forced him into that situation," she thought.
She didn't know how many times she had gone over the situation. If not for the Beast Taming Families threatening the kid with mercenaries, he wouldn't have left.
Now the kid had another backer. She decided to leave this matter behind since Jeremy Night had joined another organization.
She decided to give him early graduation. Jeremy Night's combat strength had reached the criteria for graduation. His strength was comparable to that of the 4th-year students.
Then she thought about Elder Derek and Instructor Jacob. She told them the news, but they didn't take it well. They felt a loss. Especially Instructor Jacob, who was in disbelief at that time.
She had told him to convey the news to the other two members when there was a right opportunity.
Instructor Jacob was inside the STRIKER department class. Both Daniel and Betsy were in front of him. He didn't know when it was the right time to tell them.
Suddenly, Daniel looked at him and asked, "Instructor, what happened to brother Jeremy? He is not picking our calls. Did he go to the wilderness again?"
"It's the first time he has been absent for a few days," Betsy added.
Hearing that, Jacob's face changed drastically, but he quickly controlled his emotions.
He said, "You guys will know soon."
Daniel and Betsy looked at each other. They sensed something was wrong, but they didn't know what it was.
Not only were they wondering, but the other department students were wondering as well because Jeremy Night's popularity was sky-high now. Everyone wanted to see him.
But surprisingly, Jeremy Night was nowhere to be seen. May Lindsey and Victor Scott had asked Daniel and Betsy Lowe earlier. They were clueless as well.
Even Jeremy Night's acquaintances in City A, like the City Guard Captain and the guards, and the City Police Captain and others.
If Jeremy Night had entered the wilderness, the City Guard Captain and Guards would have known. They were waiting to get an autograph from him.
But they had yet to see Jeremy Night. Captain Nathan knew that Dean Carolyn knew something, but he didn't ask her about this matter.
