Last day of the mission,
Jeremy Night is patrolling the borders along with team members. Today is the last day of the mission. He can't wait to return to the university and collect the 1,000 points.
Fortunately, apart from the unexpected first day, the rest of the days have been peaceful. He hadn't faced any corrupted beast threats after that.

The rest of the time he focuses his attention on the unknown egg lifeline beast. After coming here, the unknown egg lifeline beast has been absorbing more natural energy from the surroundings.
Back at the university, he didn't have time to observe it. But here, while patrolling, he could study the activities of the unknown egg lifeline beast. Who knows? This information could be useful to him in the future.

When it was the evening, he bid goodbye to Captain Gordon and others before returning to the city. After coming back, he immediately boarded a flying taxi to get back to the university.
It didn't take much time for him to return to the university.

He returned to the dorm room. No one knew about his return. Jeremy Night couldn't help but feel curious about what happened during his absence.
After returning, the first thing he did was enter the bath to take a long shower.
The bath lasted for another 20 minutes.
He then changed into comfortable clothes before sitting on the sofa to scroll through the online news.
He looked mostly at the online posts. After scrolling down a few pages, some of the news caught his attention.
Especially the news about himself. He opened one of the articles to read it. As he went through the article, he realized that his whereabouts had been leaked.
He was sure that no one knew about it except Instructor Jacob. There was also the Task Hall staff, but he doubted they had leaked any news.
Next, he shook his head and continued to read the news. The articles clearly stated everything, including the exact time of his departure.
Fortunately, the content of the mission was not leaked. Otherwise, he would have seen them outside.
He then went through other online articles. All of them were safe. Then he saw a news article about May Lindsey. He raised his eyebrows in surprise.
He opened the article to read it. As he went through half of it, he couldn't help but feel strange. May Lindsey had left for an outside mission two days after his departure.
Jeremy doubted whether it was a coincidence. People who usually do missions are those lacking resources. He knew May Lindsey had a powerful background.
So there was no reason for her to do the mission.
Jeremy shook his head. He stopped thinking about other people's actions. After going through a few articles, he stopped reading and decided to go to sleep.
He woke up late. After completing his morning routine an hour later, he began to get ready for class. He was eager to know about the Striker Department's special recruitment.
He left the dorm building and started walking toward the Department Building. Jeremy thought that seven days were enough for Instructor Jacob to screen some students.
If he had company in the class, then it would be good. He wouldn't have to spend all the time alone.
He arrived at the five-floor department building. He saw Medicine Department beast tamers going to their class. He tried not to be seen by them.
But Jeremy's attempts turned futile. One of them saw him at that moment and shouted his name.
"Jeremy Night is back!"
The name Jeremy Night attracted everyone's attention immediately. Those who were sitting inside the class exited the classroom to see him.
Jeremy quickly went to the elevator. The other department beast tamers wouldn't usually follow him to the fifth floor. After entering the lift, he pressed the button for the fifth floor.
The Medicine Department beast tamers started to spread the news. The Machinery Department beast tamers were able to hear the news second.
The lift reached the fifth floor.
Jeremy stepped out. He sighed in relief. He was almost swarmed by the beast tamers. He then saw his class and walked toward it.
He came to the entrance and saw an empty hall. His eyes flashed with disappointment.
"What is he doing?" Jeremy thought about Instructor Jacob.
He certainly hoped that his class would be filled with people. He lazily went to the front row to sit down.
About 20 minutes later,
Instructor Jacob entered the class with a smile on his face. After seeing Jeremy back, his smile widened further.
"Jeremy, you are back," Jacob said.
"Yes, instructor. I came back last evening. But what about the recruitment status? I thought new students would be here," I asked.
Jacob smiled before sitting in the chair.
He then said, "If it's me, I would have everyone here. But Dean Carolyn also oversees the recruitment. She is picky."
"We don't have any other supporters apart from her. So the recruitment process will take a few more days to be over," Jacob added.
