"What did you say?" Garam stood up, his menacing aura was leaking out of his body.
As the room's atmosphere became heavy, Iskar gulped quietly before nodding his head. "Yes, Master. The Black Cat is gone. Apparently, they were attacked by a mysterious organization.
"According to our information, the enemies had at least several summoners of the same level as the tyrants. Even the one killing the Black Cat's head had a similar level. People recounted the battle to last for over twenty minutes.
"Everything had been wiped clean, including all the records that they had kept."
Garam's body shook. His expression turned dark as he asked coldly, "Who did it?"
"We are still investigating them. Most likely, they're a hidden organization. We don't know if it's a grudge or not."
"Doesn't this mean you don't know anything?" Garam shouted in anger. He even threw his glass at Iskar.
Iskar only gritted his teeth, enduring the pain. Fortunately, his body was stronger than normal people's, so when the glass shattered upon impact, he was only wet because of the wine inside it.
Losing Jisawn hurt them a lot. He had been the core of their information, so once they tried to do it, they had a hard time finding all the information.
Garam mumbled, "These guys are so useless. They are reporting to me after almost a week?"
Iskar couldn't say anything. It was true that they couldn't be compared to Jisawn. Garam gathered them and invited them to join the Divine Hand because of their ability, so it was normal for him to be disappointed.
Still, Garam had to remain as calm as possible. Even though he just wanted to blast these people out, he had to think of the possibilities that the Divine Hand had.
On the one hand, if they continued operating like usual, the enemies might realize all sorts of information. If they ambushed a few more hands, they would get enough information to find them. The organization would also be crippled.
On the other hand, sitting around was just annoying. It was as if they were telling the enemies that they were afraid of them.
Garam clenched his fists. "What's the situation with that plan?"
"We can't continue this plan anymore. No one is adept at kidnapping them anymore. If we continue doing this, there's a high chance we will fall into an ambush." Iskar shook his head. Normally, it would be Kana and Jisawn who did the scouting and kidnapping. Of course, the Black Cat Organization played a few roles to help those two.
Now that all of them were gone, they couldn't really kidnap people anymore.
"…" Garam didn't seem to have other choices. "Hide."
"!!!" The people widened their eyes in surprise.
"We'll hide for the time being. If we rush out right now, we'll only fall for their trick. We'll see what's going on outside.
"Considering they're attacking the Black Cat with several summoners of that level, they must be thinking they could defeat me by relying on those people. No. They might even plan to gang up on me.
"It's clear that they haven't realized my true identity and strength. Or else, they would have gained the cooperation of a world class summoner.
"Instead, we should focus on creating a defense line. One that can stop several enemies. I will crush the rest and turn the situation around.
"Make sure that all of you stay hidden and continue like normal. Reorganize the organization, especially our information network. We need our ears to listen to the surroundings.
"Since they're aiming for us and looking like they're not related to the kingdoms, we'll lure them to us and surprise them with our own ambush. However, there's still a possibility of them related to the four kingdoms, so make sure to watch out for them."
After listening to Garam's decision, they all stood up and shouted in unison. "Understood."
Little did they know, they were thinking the exact thing that Nathan wanted them to think.
Meanwhile, Nathan was walking to his house with Flora, ready for the discussion of their next mission.
"By the way, I have gotten a word from my father. The team has actually managed to create the medicine for those people. They have been tested by several people and there don't seem to be any problems.
"Right now, they're planning to mass produce it. In addition, they have discovered 97 infected people and there might be more in the future. All of them are students. Because it's going to be hard to continue the same way, they are also planning to check if there are other summoners who are infected.
"Once we've located all of them, we'll cure all of them in one swoop. The problem will be what happens if we miss several students or summoners. We might have to kill them on the spot.

Flora acknowledged the answer. "By the way, Selena is looking much better now."
