Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts Chapter 890

"!!!" The warrior class alien put his arms in front and used the tentacles to cover himself.

Even with the Deceleration, he was able to move fast enough to protect himself. However, this wasn't the end of Nathan's attack.

Nathan aimed his gun again, trying to suppress the warrior class alien with his firepower.

But without a single bullet being able to penetrate its skin, the warrior class alien thought Nathan's attack was useless. It spread its tentacles and jumped into the air.

Nathan skillfully kicked the air, maneuvering around while shooting the alien accurately.

"What is he doing? He should have realized that this attack is not enough to kill a warrior class alien. Is he just wasting his own ena?" Flora squinted her eyes.

"No. Knowing Nathan, it's clear that he has an idea in mind. We just don't know about it yet." Noelle shook her head.

"What kind of trump card does he have?" Alavenya was curious, considering Nathan had always been too mysterious.

The moment the alien was fully focused on him, Nathan instantly switched his strategy.

Nathan released his left hand and formed a bullet. But this time, a magic circle formed before the bullet was even created.

"Huh? A magic circle?"

"His bullet doesn't require such a thing, right?" Sera asked Selena.

"He's aiming for something." Selena noticed the power of the magic circle. It was something he added into the bullet, but she didn't know what kind of attack he had prepared.

Nathan shot all those explosive bullets, forcing the alien to be more careful. Considering Nathan was superior in the air, the tentacles that had turned into wings to fight Nathan in the air suddenly reverted back, allowing the warrior class alien to land on the ground.

Then the alien started avoiding the explosive bullets while forming a shield with his tentacle to protect himself.

There were two explosive bullets supposed to hit his shield. Yet, for some reason, the alien didn't feel any impact. This sudden change confused the alien, making it think Nathan sent the explosive bullets elsewhere.

The alien sensed the bullets around him but noticed that nothing went around his shield. Hence, the alien opened up the shield to check the location of the explosive bullets.

It was at that time the alien sensed the explosive bullets coming back for him.

It didn't have enough time to form the shield again, so the explosive bullets hit him in the face.

The girls couldn't help but drop their jaws. They could clearly see what had happened.

The explosive bullets that were supposed to hit the target suddenly disappeared. No, it was more accurate to say they reappeared as though they turned back time at least two seconds prior to the impact.

As a result, the alien couldn't find it. The moment the alien opened the shield, they arrived and hit him.

"I have almost forgotten. Nathan's power is not in his firepower or unique way of utilizing his attack. It's his control on the battlefield." Flore scratched the back of her head.

"He knew the alien would release the shield, and he timed it perfectly…" Selena muttered, recalling how he timed his attack perfectly when he fought against Rudeus. At that time, Nathan made Rudeus think a volley of attacks would rain down on him, but it turned out he split the volley into two with different timing.

This was Nathan's true strength. The ability to predict the enemy's movement and calculate the timing.

With the time element, Nathan simply became a monster in control.

Still, several explosive bullets were not enough to take down a warrior class alien. The latter stood back up, even though a portion of its face was destroyed. The black cell was busy repairing its head.

Both Nathan and the alien changed their strategy.

Nathan switched the mode and started shooting one explosive bullet after another with his gun.

Knowing that there might be a change in the timing, the alien didn't choose to block it. Instead, the tentacles had turned into a sharp blade.

The alien avoided most of the bullets. When there were one or two bullets he couldn't avoid, it would send forth its tentacles to strike them down.

The explosive bullet still damaged the tentacles severely, but with the regeneration of the black cell, it shouldn't be hard for the alien to regenerate them before Nathan finishes dealing with the rest of the tentacles.

With this kind of development, it wouldn't be weird for them to reach a stalemate. The group might be able to take down a warrior class alien, but most of the time, it was a combined effort with their familiars or they had to sacrifice something to unleash the most powerful attack that the alien couldn't block.

But in this battle, Nathan was trying to take down a warrior class alien without suffering a single injury.

That was why the explosive bullets that the alien managed to block suddenly curved up instead of hitting the ground.

"!!!" Selena raised her head and saw a massive magic circle hovering in the sky.

The explosive bullets were flying toward this magic circle and somehow stopped right before they reached the magic circle. It was as if time had stopped right next to the magic circle.

More importantly, more and more explosive bullets were coming toward this magic circle without exploding.

The alien could feel the nastiness of the magic circle. If all that energy were to be released, it could even surpass its toughness.

Even Selena felt chills down her spine. A smile subconsciously appeared on her face. After all, this attack might surpass the power of her strongest attack easily.

More and more explosive bullets gathered around the magic circle in the sky. The alien knew it had to destroy it so that it wouldn't go according to Nathan's way.

Hence, once again, the alien shape-shifted his tentacles to wings and flew into the sky.

There were still six tentacles left that remained as a blade. Two of them struck down the explosive bullets that almost hit him while the remaining four moved toward the magic circle.

"I would have run if I were you." Nathan smiled. "Time Seal. Release."
