Ouyang Yudu and Wei Wufu both nodded silently; they were aware of Lin Shen’s stamina and capabilities. For a battle of attrition, he was the best choice.
Flarela, seeing that Lin Shen and his companions did not flee, approached them with a smile and said, “It seems your luck isn’t very good, to be found by me so quickly.”
“Haven’t you ever wondered why you were able to find us?” Lin Shen asked, unfazed.
“By what you’re saying, did you intentionally let me find you?” Flarela looked at Lin Shen with interest, not seeming to be in any immediate rush to start a fight.
“Do you know what’s in this sea?” Lin Shen continued on his own.
“Isn’t it the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon?” Flarela initially thought the disturbance in the Sea of Flames was caused by Lin Shen and his companions fighting with the dragon.
“No,” Lin Shen’s response somewhat surprised Flarela.
“If you’re not going after the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon, then I’m interested to know why you’re causing such a commotion here. Could it be some scheme against me?” Flarela asked.
“There’s something more valuable than the Crimson Flame Starburst Dragon down here; if you’re interested, we could work together.” Lin Shen thought to himself, “If Flarela really is interested in what’s below, taking her to the ancient city might just work. The devices on her might activate before we even find it.”
“Lord Flarela, this kid’s eyes are shifty – he’s clearly up to no good. Why waste words with him? Just kill them,” the Di Man Person, robust as a tank, said to Flarela as he volunteered, “To kill a few humans isn’t worth your personal effort, I alone am more than enough.”
“Very well, I leave it to you,” Flarela said indifferently.
“Wei, go test their strength and buy me some time. The longer you can delay them, the better,” Lin Shen quietly told Wei Wufu.
Lin Shen wasn’t angered by the Di Man Tribe’s arrogance at all. Weren’t they just giving him the time he needed?
With Flarela’s permission, the tank-like strong Di Man male flew out, directly using Carapace to summon his Life Base.
His Life Base was surprisingly a Metallic Giant Bear. The Di Man male proudly said to Lin Shen and his companions, “Remember my name, Gerji of the Di Man Tribe. Next life, if you come across a man with this name, you’d be wise to detour. As for now, come at me together.”
