Su Chengyu drove Gu Xiao Shuang straight to the toy store at the mall. Confronted with a dazzling array of toys, Gu Xiao Shuang was lost in wonder.

Su Chengyu squatted down and patted Gu Xiao Shuang’s head, saying, "It doesn’t matter, pick whatever you want, Godfather will buy them for you."
"Thank you, Godfather."
Gu Xiao Shuang’s eyes narrowed in joy. In her entire life, apart from her mother, no one else had ever treated her this well.
In the end, Gu Xiao Shuang only chose three toys. She said that she agreed with her mother that she shouldn’t be greedy or break any rules. Su Chengyu, heartbroken for this obedient little girl, called over the salesperson and had him pack up over ten more toys."

"Since he’s giving it to you, you might as well accept it. A house isn’t a big deal to them. It’s true that your current place is a bit small and the community isn’t very good," Su Chengyu noted.
