Duan Tianyang appeared, his wounds had greatly improved. He was, after all, a Martial Arts Grandmaster, possessing formidable healing powers.

"No!" Qi Liang reacted quickly, grabbing Duan Tianyang’s arm, the sword just missing Fang Qing by a hair, scaring her half to death.
"She’s the daughter of Fang Zhenhai," Qi Liang stated.
Qi Liang, a Jiangyang native, had met Fang Qing before he was transferred to the Dragon Soul division in Jiangnan.
Fang Qing was scared and broke out into a cold sweat. "Miss Fang, why are you here?" Qi Liang asked.
"I’m friends with Su Chengyu. Can’t I visit him?" Fang Qing responded.
"Miss Fang, Su Chengyu offended the Xu family. I advise the Fang family to sever ties with him." Qi Liang suggested.
"My friendship with Su Chengyu is personal and has nothing to do with the Fang family." Fang Qing was not foolish and understood the power of the Xu family; she couldn’t involve her family.
"It’s for the best! Miss Fang, you should be careful who you befriend. Su Chengyu is not worth it. I initially thought he was brave enough to oppose the Xu family, turns out he’s just a coward!" Qi Liang scoffed.
"He’s not afraid of you, he just has something to do. You want to seek revenge, there’s no urgency for that, right?" Fang Qing replied.
Qi Liang to Duan Tianyang, "Such a wretch can’t amount to much. There will be plenty of opportunities to kill him, he can’t run forever. The thing you need to do now is calm your mind, so you’ll be strong enough to kill him yourself the next time you meet."

"Find him...we must find him!" Xu Shenghe was once again seething with anger. He just couldn’t swallow this humiliation.
Meanwhile, Su Chengyu had arrived at Jiangyang, heading straight for Gu Ying’s residence.
Ever since Su Chengyu left, Gu Ying and her daughter, Gu Xiao Shuang, had lived a reclusive life, keeping a low profile in their apartment complex and not attracting any attention.
There was a children’s playground in the complex where Gu Ying usually took Little Shuang to play. They received a phone call from a deliveryman saying that the groceries they had ordered online had arrived at the apartment complex’s entrance and that she needed to come down and collect them.
"Little Shuang, mommy needs to get our parcel from the entrance, do you want to come?" Gu Ying asked after hanging up the phone.
"Mommy, I want to play some more," Little Shuang said.
"Alright, sweetie. You stay here and play. Don’t go anywhere. I’ll be back in a few minutes."
After instructing her daughter a couple of times, Gu Ying quickly went to collect the parcel. However, when she came back, she heard Little Shuang’s cries from afar. She rushed over to see a small boy dragging Little Shuang by her hair on the ground while Little Shuang was crying out in pain.
"Hey, kid! What are you doing? Let go!" she exclaimed.
Gu Ying recognized this boy; he was around ten years old and notorious for bullying other children in the apartment complex. Many kids were afraid of him, and he had even bullied Little Shuang a few times before.
Being a mother, watching her child being treated filled Gu Ying with rage and heartache. She quickly reprimanded the boy and tried to pull him away.
Protecting Little Shuang behind her, she scolded the boy, "Again? Why do you always have to bully people?"
"She wouldn’t let me play with her toy, so I had to punish her!" the boy retorted defiantly.
"So it’s okay for you to hit her because you want her toys? How many times have you hit her? Give the toy back to us," Gu Ying reprimanded angrily.
The boy threw the toy on the ground, stepped on it, and rushed over to bite Gu Ying’s hand. The pain made her push the boy away.
The boy fell onto his bottom and started wailing, "You hit me! I’m telling my parents! They’ll beat you up!"
Still crying, he quickly called his parents from his smartwatch to tell on Gu Ying.
