"It's like the small village," Dave mumbled before jumping down the cliff, landing effortlessly inside the city. The rest of the party followed after him.
"There are around ten of these buildings?" Leo asked, looking around.
The structures before them housed the vampires.
"The difficulty is currently low, considering Braham hasn't moved yet," Dave thought.
In the original timeline, when Braham awakened, he significantly increased the difficulty of all Vampire Cities. But since they were raiding it before that event, the difficulty remained manageable.
Without hesitation, Dave opened the outermost building's door.
The first floor revealed a massive hall capable of accommodating at least 2,000 people. The ceiling stretched up to the seventh floor, and two grand staircases led upward.
And the hall was filled with coffins.
"They house the vampires. Chant your spells and prepare your most powerful moves," Dave instructed.
The party immediately began their preparations.
"Holy Weapon!" Diana chanted, as radiant light descended upon everyone.

One attack after another was unleashed in succession, illuminating the dark hall with a brilliant cascade of divine and fiery energy. The oppressive atmosphere of the vampire lair trembled under their onslaught, as the light-based abilities—natural counters to the undead—began their deadly work.
The coffin began to shake. But as they came out of the coffin, it was already late; a many attacks appeared and bombarded them and reduced all of them to ashes.
However, not all of them died.
The coffins opened, and the vampires appeared. They had pale skin, long fangs, and red eyes. Their red eyes turned towards Dave and his party.
"This fragrance is good."
"As soon as I open my eyes, I can celebrate with human blood."
The vampires were the top predators. They didn't feel any nervousness about the people who invaded their territory. Rather, they laughed like they were happy.
The vampires living in the underground cities were different from those who popped up all over the continent. Their combat power was between level 280~350.
"Give me blood! I shall enjoy it!"
"Ohuhut, shall we aim for that man's clean neck?"
The 100 vampires quickly narrowed the distance to Dave and his party.
"Be ready," Dave said as he activated another skill.
"100,000 Army Massacre Sword!"
Dave attacked swiftly.
"Ack! It hurts! It hurts!"
The vampires screamed in agony. Dave's skill now carried Holy attribute damage, making it lethal against them.
Over 30 vampires were instantly killed, while more of them would have died if they hadn't moved in time. However, those who survived quickly began to counterattack.
With the Saintess' Holy Weapon buff, it was an easy kill for all of them.

Dave looked at Boa and Diana and said, "Protect them while supporting me."
They nodded in response as Leo, Elira, Jude, and Thorne also got ready.
"Let's see who is food," Dave said as the two once-laughing vampires now glared at him with blood-red eyes.
Boars and Rujul, the two vampires, stopped laughing as their expressions turned sinister.
"You dare challenge us, human?" Boars sneered, baring his fangs. His crimson eyes glowed in the dim light of the vampire city.
Rujul licked her lips, her sharp nails elongating into deadly claws. "This will be fun. Fresh blood without the hassle of hunting."
Dave didn't waste any words. His Black Dragon Sword hummed as he activated 100,000 Army Massacre Sword, the air around him trembling with killing intent.
Leo, Elira, Jude, and Thorne launched forward.
— Leo swung his greatsword, using Flare Slash, sending a wave of flames toward the vampires.
— Elira raised her staff, chanting a spell, "Flare burst", a golden light descending to purify the undead.
— Jude charged in recklessly, his blade coated in divine energy.
— Thorne stayed back, firing Sun Arrows at rapid speed, his arrows finding their mark even in the darkness.
