“Miss Creyah…” the chubby broadcaster, his teeth clattering from fear, said, “Should we broadcast this segment? I put a delay, there’s still time—”
“Air it.” Creyah’s voice was devoid of emotion.
“Let everyone see his bloody methods. Gongsun Ce chose this path of direct confrontation. We’ll transform his battles into fear in people’s minds, and only the leader who eventually brings him down will become the hero who defeated the devil!”
The chubby broadcaster hastily nodded and, terrified, recited the pre-written script, “An invisible demon has defeated the warriors of the Mutual Assistance Association, beginning a brutal rampage in the center of the Thorn District…”
Creyah removed her headset and issued new instructions, “Why hasn’t the Spirit Special Task Force and the special tactics class arrived yet?”
“They are blocked in the southern part of Thorn District…”
A new enemy? Creyah furrowed her beautiful brows and asked worriedly, “Who?”
The communicator sounded like he was about to cry, “Minister, it’s a vehicle!! Our special task force is blocked by a vehicle!!”
“Modern talking, Modern walking in the streets♪ New desire, Take me higher♪ Lift me higher with your speed♪ I need fire!♪”
Music reminiscent of a car race played amidst the hail of gunfire, with a bright red sports car blocking the road center. The armored vehicles ahead unleashed their full firepower, only to be overshadowed by even more ferocious artillery. A rocket whistled into the sky, turning a drone trying to breach the defense into a fireball. Onowell discarded the empty rocket launcher and picked up a modified heavy machine gun to spray bullets forward.
“Running in the 90’s! Is a new way I like to be!♪” The bald man sang along with the accompaniment in the rain, the muzzles of two heavy firearms continuously ejecting flames, eliciting cries and howls from a group of students ahead. “We are running in the 90’s, Is a new way to set me free!♪”
Mo Yuankai, holding a small pistol, whistled, “Wow, principal! I didn’t know you were so fierce!”
“The Siluoke family started out as Rangers!” Onowell shouted, “I was slicing up synthetic gangs in Longyue City on a motorcycle when you weren’t even born yet!!”
“Hey, mind the language, principal! You’re an educator now, not a Ranger!”
Onowell tossed the heavy machine gun to the back seat, the bullet chain wrapped around him finally running out. He grabbed a custom tear gas grenade and swung it forward. The specialized weapon smashed through the bulletproof glass, causing cries of agony inside, and as members of Light Core’s task force rushed out of the vehicle, they were each promptly knocked out by anesthetic bullets.
“Do you know what a teacher’s duty is?! When kids stray off the right path, they need an adult to step in and give them a slap, and send them right back to their mother’s path!”
Mo Yuankai nodded approvingly, “True words from a principal. This is what teaching and educating are all about.”
The dashboard showed an increase in the weight on the vehicle. Mo Yuankai looked back and saw the doll-like girl, unnoticed, had appeared in the back seat.
“All the Mind System superpower users are taken care of,” Qin Qianbai gave a thumbs up, “Need help over here?”
“Thanks a lot! Miss Qin, you go find Ah Ce first, the principal and I can handle these small fries~”
Qin Qianbai nodded and swiftly jumped away.
“Principal, you rest a bit first, the car still has enough energy for me.”
Red Meteor transformed into a giant robot, kicking an armored vehicle into the air. This scene nearly shattered the enemy’s will to fight, as numerous special forces members screamed in panic, claiming that the hero’s car was possessed by a ghost coming to claim their souls.
“Mo, did you hack into the enemy’s communications?”
“I’m on it… Okay, success. Want to wage information warfare?”
“No need. You have more authority among the kids than I do. Use your influence to ask them for a favor.” The old principal used anesthetic bullets to precisely shoot down fleeing enemies, “Then concentrate on finding evidence, and track down each of those nonexistent victims!”

Red Meteor charged at the enemy, the stirring music resonating in the distance, invigorating one’s veins.

A ghostly blue flame pierced through half the street, dissolving and then eradicating a twenty-story building. Gongsun Ce landed on a utility pole and shrugged, “Scary, huh~”
