Sheng Chuyi wasn’t really angry, though. He was actually happy to see that his girl was getting better and better, and more and more people were noticing her good qualities.
His previous words were just his way of teasing her.
He was glad to see her , their marriage hadn’t drained her energy and enthusiasm. In fact, she had become even more excellent.
"Let’s go! An’an must be getting impatient," Sheng Chuyi leaned in to fasten her seatbelt for her.
Shen Zhaozhao took the opportunity to give him a peck on the face.
Today was the little princess’s first day of kindergarten. As expected, when the couple arrived at the kindergarten’s entrance, they saw the little princess being held by the teacher, waiting at the door.
The moment she saw them, she pouted and complained, "Daddy, Mommy, why did you come so late? All the other kids have been picked up by their parents."

Sheng Ning’an, the little princess, said, "I told them to stop crying, or else their mommy and daddy wouldn’t want them anymore."
She thought she knew why the teacher had that look on her face now.
Shen Zhaozhao said, "Well, our An’an is indeed a good girl, but let’s not comfort them like that next time."
"Why not?" the little girl asked, puzzled.
Shen Zhaozhao said with a smile, "Because the teacher will comfort them. If An’an does the teacher’s job, then there’s no work left for her, right?"
The little girl shook her head and replied, "The teachers are too busy. When they cry, the teacher cries with them, and then they start laughing. So whenever they cry, I tell the teacher to hurry up and cry."
Oh sweetie, can we not talk so much when we’re in kindergarten? Being your teacher is just too tough!
Shen Zhaozhao felt guilty; she didn’t know how she was going to face their teacher tomorrow.
Shen Zhaozhao looked toward Sheng Chuyi in the driver’s seat and said, "I just remembered my mentor asked me to go out for a field study for a few days. I think it’s a great opportunity. So, I’m going to leave the task of picking her up to you guys."
Sheng Chuyi could easily see through her little schemes and said with a smile, "Understood. Just go and rest assured, I’ll take good care of her."
