Just as she was about to say something, she was abruptly pulled away by Ning An, "Weren’t we going for a run? Let’s go!"
Xu Weiran watched the girl leave without even a goodbye, the corners of his mouth curling up with amusement.
He realized the girl seemed to rather dislike him, didn’t she?
He didn’t remember offending her, did he?
Ning An didn’t actually dislike him; it’s just that every time she saw him, she couldn’t help but remember the month she was forced to write test papers because of him.
She had just gained her freedom and didn’t want to relive the unpleasant past.
Xu Weiran watched as she walked away, faintly hearing her friend say, "That guy just now, wasn’t he the handsome man who came to your parent-teacher conference? I feel like he’s gotten even more handsome!"
Her deskmate nodded vigorously, "Yes, yes, yes, he really is so handsome! I wonder what kind of girl could land him."
Ning An: "Stop dreaming, it definitely won’t be you or me."
"Why not?" Her deskmate was puzzled. "Don’t you think he’s handsome? If you could be his girlfriend, just thinking about his face could make you wake up smiling."
She herself might not have a chance, but she thought An’an could give it a try.
The image of the two of them standing together earlier looked so pleasing to the eye.
Ning An gave her a look, "You actually like older men?"
