The words "break up" felt as if something was clogging her chest when they left her own mouth, making it hard to breathe smoothly, bringing an indescribable discomfort.
She then heard Xu Weiran let out a low laugh and said, "When did I ever say I wanted to break up?"
Under Sheng Ning’an’s puzzled gaze, he slowly started to speak, "What I wanted to say is, although I am older than you, it was you who suggested we be together, so, even if I am older, you’ll just have to accept it. Even if you have regrets, I won’t let go."
Sheng Ning’an felt her heart soar then heavily settle back down.
