Sheng Ning’an’s car was towed to the 4S shop for repairs, so she simply had them change all the tires as well, and take the opportunity for some maintenance upgrades. It would likely take about a week, so the next day, Sheng Yeli had to drive her back to school.
The car stopped in front of the girls’ dormitory, and Sheng Yeli turned to her and said, "The 4S shop will call you once the car is fixed. If you don’t have time to pick it up, just ask the shop to deliver it to you."
"Got it, thanks, Young Uncle, I’m heading up now." Sheng Ning’an waved to him, unbuckled her seatbelt, and got out of the car.
Sheng Yeli was about to drive away when he suddenly spotted a bunch of food his mother had prepared for that girl, which the girl had forgotten to take with her.
He then pressed the car horn.

She saw the driver’s window roll down, and Sheng Yeli reached out, picked up the bag, and handed it out the window, saying, "Your stuff."
"I almost forgot!" Sheng Ning’an came back, took the large bag, and returned to the dormitory.
"An’an, why did you bring so much back?" Inside the dormitory, Tian Yu saw her carrying a large bag inside and couldn’t help but voice her envy.
Living close to home is great, not just because you can go home every week, but also because you can bring good food from home to the dorm from time to time.
"My grandma prepared it. The old lady always worries I won’t eat well at school!" Sheng Ning’an said.
"Exactly, my grandma does the same. Every time she calls, she asks whether I’m eating well and if I’m warm enough at school." Tian Yu immediately empathized when the conversation turned to family concern.
Sheng Ning’an opened the bag, which contained some freshly baked pastries as well as beef jerky and other snacks made by her grandma’s hand.
They were all things she enjoyed eating.
Besides that, there were also several microwave-safe meal boxes filled with her grandma’s homecooked dishes.
These were all prepared for Xu Weiran.
Sheng Ning’an picked out the portion meant for herself and took the rest to Xu Weiran’s place.
Before leaving, she sent a message to Xu Weiran, but there was no reply, and Sheng Ning’an didn’t know if he was at home.
After climbing the stairs, she knocked on the door.
Soon the door was opened from the inside, and Xu Weiran appeared at the doorway.

After Sheng Ning’an had put away the food, she took the towel from his hand and helped him dry his hair, then she fetched a hair dryer from the bathroom to finish the job.
The warm air blew on his scalp, carrying the scent of shampoo into the air.
It was exceptionally endearing!
