No one knows how Xu Weiran convinced his parents, but surprisingly, they really did feel comfortable letting Sheng Ning’an and Xu Weiran live together.
They even reminded Sheng Ning’an not to trouble Xu Weiran.
"What kind of magic potion did you give my parents?" Sheng Ning’an looked at him skeptically.
Xu Weiran smiled lightly at her and said, "Actually, I didn’t do anything."
"The reason your parents agreed isn’t because they trust me, but because they trust their precious daughter’s judgment. You chose me, they’re just respecting your choice!"
After all, it’s just because her parents love her, and he is merely the extension of that love.
When put that way, it does make sense!
The next morning, Sheng Ning’an was woken up by Xu Weiran.
In a daze, she heard Xu Weiran’s voice beside her ear: "Sheng Ning’an, time to get up, you still have class later."
She opened her eyes and saw him, thinking she was still dreaming, it took her brain a moment to catch up.
"What time is it?" Sheng Ning’an, just awakened, her voice had a slightly hoarse, soft tone. Half-squinting, looking like she might fall back asleep at any moment.
Xu Weiran listened and found this girl exceedingly adorable: "It’s seven o’clock already, don’t you have a morning class?"
"Why is it so late?" Sheng Ning’an frowned.
Having just moved in yesterday, she forgot to set an alarm clock.
When she used to live in the dorm, the noise others made when they woke up was enough to wake her, so she didn’t need an alarm clock.
Xu Weiran patted her head and said, "I’ve already prepared breakfast for you, hurry up and get up to eat, I’ll take you to class later."

He’s used to waking up early, so usually, he has breakfast earlier than others.
"Next time, you can wake me up earlier, I’d like to have breakfast with you," Sheng Ning’an said as she sat down at the table, taking the chopsticks from him.
"Okay!" Xu Weiran replied with a smile.
After finishing breakfast, it was just 7:45, just right to take Sheng Ning’an to school.
After getting out of the car, Sheng Ning’an waved to Xu Weiran and headed towards the teaching building.
As she was nearing the classroom door, she ran into Tian Yu and Xue Xian. The two waved at her, and when Sheng Ning’an got closer, she heard Tian Yu say, "An’an, how was your first night living outside?"
Sheng Ning’an: "It was great!"
"Of course, living at your own place is definitely more comfortable than in the dorm," the two said, looking envious.
