Qiao Qing paused, “Why are you giving him a set of drawing tools?”
Luo Chen simply answered, “I think his hobby is drawing. The first time I went to his manor, I saw that he drew a portrait of you.”
“The way he drew you was no amateur. If he never studied it, he must really enjoy it to be that good.”
“With his status, I’m sure he doesn’t lack anything. But this set of tools is well designed so I think it would be good to give this to him.”
Qiao Qing was silent. If Luo Chen didn’t bring that up, she would’ve forgotten about his drawing.
She thought of something and opened her mouth, “Why did you decide to give him a gift?”
Luo Chen scratched his head, “We’ve known each other for a while now. Even if we aren’t friends, it’s still polite to get him a gift.”
Qiao Qing nodded, “You’ve known Jun Yexuan for longer. How come you didn’t think to get him a gift?”
Luo Chen, “...”
He actually didn’t think about that! But even now, when he remembers Jun Yexuan, he doesn’t want to gift him anything.
After some awkward silence, Luo Chen rubbed his nose and changed the subject, “Qingqing, I’m hungry. Let’s go eat?”
Qiao Qing didn’t pester and nodded, “Where should we go?”
“Let’s go to Jing Li Xuan.” Luo Chen checked out the time, “It’s not exactly lunch hour so there shouldn’t be a line. Oh wait, no, the manager there is your friend, so you never have to line up.”
Then, he took over the wrapped-up gift and his credit card.
Qiao Qing turned to leave, “Let’s go.”
Luo Chen followed.
Once they arrived and entered, they heard a lot of noise inside. The cashier desk was also empty without even a hostess there.
Luo Chen scratched his head, “What’s happening? Did someone cause a scene?”
Qiao Qing frowned and walked up to the noisy table, “What’s wrong?”
Her voice was cold and demanding. At once, the entire room silenced.
When Chen Lan saw Qiao Qing, her eyes lit up.
“Master Feng, these two people claim they found a cockroach in our food.”
Luo Chen and Qiao Qing looked over to the two mentioned.
When Luo Chen saw them, he frowned, “Why are they here?”
Yi Shiqiong and Tian Zhen looked just as grossed out at the sight of Luo Chen and Qiao Qing.
Qiao Qing peeked at Luo Chen, “You know them?”
Her words made the two of them look extremely ugly in the face. They all thought she was being arrogant.
Just as Yi Shiqiong was about to make another scene, she remembered Jun Yexuan’s threat that night and shut up.
Luo Chen chuckled, “Qingqing, your facial blindness is at play again. One of them is Yi Shiqiong, the beautiful author who had her signing event with you. The other is Tian Zhen, the one who exposed your grades and said you got in by cheating the system.”
His words made Chen Lan explode, “So you were an awful person even before this!”
Tian Zhen looked embarrassed and furious.

Tian Zhen chimed in as well, “Yeah, address the problem! Senior Yi’s face turned white after finding that. Who knows if her physical or mental health got affected! Though I didn’t eat the cockroach, I did eat that dish. It’s so disgusting that I don’t think I can eat anything in the next few days!”
