It was one thing for Yao Tang to know that her performance in her Chinese Language class was bad, but it was another thing for her to hear from others how bad it had been.
She didn’t feel too good after that.
After school, Yao Tang escaped all the rumors and rushed to Grandma Xu’s house with Qin Jingby her side.
Xu Xuan had been very busy these days. She was supposed to be the one to give Grandma Xuher injection, but a few days had passed, and she still couldn’t make it.
It had been a long time since she had received her treatment.
At first, Yao Tang was extremely reasonable. However, she couldn’t just let some patients’ treatment be delayed like this. That’s why she headed all the way to her house to look into this situation.
However, as soon as they arrived, they bumped into Xu Xuan who was heading her way out.

Since Yao Tang and Qin Jinghad taken the car, then they should’ve arrived quite earlier than her, so why was she here?
It seemed as if she had already headed back after a long time.
As soon as she saw Yao Tang and Qin Jingat the end of the door, her eyes flashed in panic. It was as if she hadn’t expected to see them.
She grabbed them by their arms and pulled them out.
“Follow me,” she murmured.
Qin Jing furrowed her eyebrows. “Xu Xuan, where are you taking us? Aren’t you going to help Grandma Xu with her illness today?”
Only when she had finally pulled them into the corner did she say, “My Grandma’s almost healed. There’s really no need for you to come over.”
There was a hint of urgency in her voice.
Qin Jing furrowed her eyebrows. She appeared to be quite impressed with Yao Tang’s medical skills, so why did she want to stop the treatment?
Wasn’t it better to continue the acupuncture?
Xu Xuan had always been worried about her grandmother. So, why did she have a sudden change of heart?

She quickly pushed them the other way.

Qin Jing wanted to interview her even more, but Yao Tanghad already bypassed the two students and walked up the stairs.
Xu Xuan paled.
She quickly walked up to her and struggled to pull her back, but it was to no avail.
It was easy for Yao Tang to break free from her hands, and she took another step.
“Look, you have to believe me,” she pleaded. “I really don’t have any ill intentions. Just leave. You…I’ll try to explain later, but you just have to leave.”

But before she could move, a voice echoed from the other side of the home.
“Xuanxuan, what’s taking so long?”
The man stepped down the stairs. When he noticed the two figures standing behind Xu Xuan, a steely light flashed across his eyes.
Xu Xuan tried to block them, hoping that he didn’t see them.
But it was already useless. The man had already seen them. His gaze grew even colder, and his face darkened instantaneously. “Who’s this?”
“Uncle.” Her voice trembled. “These are my classmates. They’re just passing by. I’ve already told them to leave in a bit.”
