Butler Omni sighed while he looked at Ryu’s back, who was now walking to his room. He was Ryu’s partner in all the crimes most of the times, so the latter trusted him.
Ryu’s situation right now was tough. He frowned at the thought that someone was trying to mess with him. He was also curious to know who that person was. But one thing was for sure, whoever it was, would surely get busted in due time.
Regarding Arya, the girl seemed to be a nice person that was caught in between. He understood Arya because she was probably feeling inwardly torn. It was like choosing between her family and Ryu. If he were at her shoes, he would have definitely chosen family first.
If Arya told Ryu everything, there’s still no assurance that Ryu could save her parents and sister from the person, who had orchestrated the outrageous plan.
So, if he were Arya, the safest thing she could do was to just obey the person behind the outrageous farce.
He clearly explained his point of view to Ryu so he just hoped that Ryu would understand Arya’s situation if the latter chose to still hide everything from him.
What was important was that Ryu had a choice since he was aware of what was coming towards him. He had a choice to guard himself and not to get hurt in the process.
However, the way he saw it, Ryu had already fallen deeply in love with that girl within that short span of time. There’s no need to ask him about it because Ryu’s eyes and actions showed it all.
He just hoped that things wouldn’t end up tragically and Ryu, who was like his own child to him, wouldn’t get hurt along the way.

Ryu got under the comforter beside Arya and turned to the side to watch her for a while. He understood everything, her situation too. That was the reason he was doing his best to get to the bottom of it.
"Will you still choose to leave me in the end? I hope you won’t because I think I will go crazy and will definitely hate you if that happens." Ryu murmured as he hugged her tightly and closed his eyes.

The next day, Ryu woke up early and prepared Arya’s food himself. Butler Omni just observed him grinning. "If your Mom was here, she would be so jealous."
Ryu just laughed and said straightforwardly, "I want Arya to fall in love with me."
"But I think she already likes you a lot." Butler Omni commented as he passed the salt to Ryu.
"That’s a different thing ’like’ is superficial and it’s a given to easily like me: I am handsome, rich and likable, while ’love’ is much deeper. If she loves me, it will be hard for her to leave me." Ryu replied while he tasted the dish he was cooking.
Butler Omni sighed and closely looked at Ryu.
"Who knows, maybe, she already loves you. Child, are you competing with her family now?" He asked directly because it seemed to be going that way.
Ryu stopped on what he was doing and helplessly looked at him.
"It is said that the way to man’s heart is through his stomach. I’ve noticed that Arya loves to eat so I will start feeding her myself to capture her heart." Ryu replied as he continued on what he was doing.
Butler Omni just shook his head. Ryu was obviously competing for Arya’s love. He no longer repeated his question because, obviously, Ryu did not want to answer it.
"Capturing her heart with a simple omelet? It’s a way to a man’s heart. Is that saying applicable to a woman too?" Butler Omni laughed hard because Ryu had already broken seven eggs just to make an omelet with a perfect taste.
Ryu scratched his head and said pouting, "What? It’s the thought that counts. Besides, this was not easy."
"Why don’t you just let the cook do that and let’s just say you did it yourself," Butler Omni suggested, although knowing Ryu, he knew he would not do that.
"That’s cheating, and you know how I hate that," Ryu commented. He tasted the omelet and it was salty this time.
His lips curved unhappily as he spoke, "It’s either bland or salty. Why can’t I perfectly do a simple thing like this?"
Butler Omni laughed once more and said meaningfully, "It’s the same in love. Sometimes, doing your best is still not enough."
"Oh, stop it already Butler Omni, or I will send you back to Ken Mansion. Besides, when did you become a love expert? Find yourself a wife first, then I will believe in whatever you say and your opinion in love." Ryu said ironically.
This time, Butler Omni scratched his head and just continued watching Ryu without commenting another word.
