Arya ate all the food served on her plate by Ryu, knowing that he cooked it himself.
"Why are you just staring at me? Grab a plate and eat too." She said, smiling.
Butler Omni laughed and answered on Ryu’s behalf, "Oh he was already full by tasting discarded omelets. He made several tries to make that perfect omelet, just for you."
Arya arched an eyebrow as her eyes widened in disbelief. "As in for real? Ow, that’s probably why it’s so good. It is actually the best omelet I have ever tasted in my life." She said smiling as she winked to Ryu, who was blushing at that moment.
’Is cooking omelet that hard for him?’ She thought inwardly, suppressing herself from teasing Ryu, who looked so cute and handsome with his happy face when she praised his omelet.
"I better get out of here or else I will be bitten soon by bees due to too much sugar around the place. I better do some fishing to kill time today." Butler Omni said before leaving.
"I want to go fishing too. Let’s go with him. I want to try that." Arya blurted out excitedly as she hurriedly rose up to follow Butler Omni.
Because Arya insisted to go on fishing with Butler Omni, Ryu had no choice but to also go.
They boarded one of Ryu’s yachts and headed for the big blue.
According to Regan, the island has plenty of good spots to chase the monsters of the deep-marlin, tuna or mackerel, and much more.
Arya couldn’t hide her excitement, while Ryu was not enjoying at all, seeing she was too close with Regan as she listened intently to the latter’s teaching about the fishing rod and bait.
Butler Omni poked him to distract his glaring and said, "Child, why don’t you just go over there and also listen to Regan about fishing?" He was suppressing his laughter.
Ryu hated fishing, he hated the long wait to catch a fish or not since a child. He always said that fishing was for only the old people and it was boring.
To Butler Omni’s surprise, Ryu went there and stood in between the two and said, "Alright, enough of that and just give us the rod with bait. What’s so hard about it? You just need to cast the fishing line, wait for a fish to bite and then reel back the fishing line."
Arya: "....?"
Regan looked at Butler Omni with confused eyes while the old man signaled Regan to just leave Ryu alone with Arya.
Regan left them while he scratched his head. Boss Ryu’s voice sounded irritated.
Meanwhile, the three of them; Butler Omni, Arya, and Ryu sat on a chair while waiting.
Ryu was already getting bored after a few minutes and said, "Why don’t we just go back and ask others to do the fishing if you want some sushi."
"But I want to experience the catching myself and I want to have it cooked afterward," Arya said with pouty lips.
She really wanted to catch a fish on her own. She loved to try fishing before but never had the chance to do so.
Ryu sighed and did not say a word, but Butler Omni could feel that his child was getting impatient.
"Catching a fish is like catching someone’s heart. You need to be patient even though you are not sure whether you will be able to catch it or not, whether it will take long or not." Butler Omni spoke in between the silence.
Ryu glared at the old man, while Arya laughed and said, "Wow, Butler Omni, that’s some words of wisdom you are comparing with regards to fishing."
Ryu’s face crumpled, this second father of him was trying to bully him once more with those cracking lines of his.
"I am patiently waiting in here. Come on fish and took the bait," Arya said still sounding excited.
Obviously, she was not getting any hint with the other meaning Butler Omni was implying for Ryu’s ears to listen.
"Well, I think the most important thing in waiting like this is not to expect anything. Just like in love, don’t expect anything at all and you will not get hurt or disappointed in the process." Butler Omni continued.
This time Arya laughed louder and said, "Gosh, Butler Omni, you are killing me with those lines. Are you a love guru? Is that based on your real experience in love?"
This time, Ryu spoke and said sneering, "Don’t believe that old man. No wonder he is still single up till now you know."
Butler Omni hissed and replied by saying, "Well, sometimes you don’t need to experience these things to be knowledgeable or a believer. Anyhow, maybe it’s really easier said than done like what I’ve heard from others who experienced such things."
"Right, Child?" He said chuckling as he looked to Ryu who was already shooting daggers at him with his eyes.
Butler Omni laughed out hard...
