"Why are you staring at me, big brother?" Ye Chaochao, feeling the constant gaze upon her, couldn’t help but feel something, and she turned her head with a puzzled look at Shen Wenzhou.
Shen Wenzhou didn’t speak, and Ye Chaochao continued, "Is there something on my face, or do I have toothpaste at the corner of my mouth?"

"Then why do you keep staring at me?" As Ye Chaochao spoke, she stuffed another small steamed bun into her mouth, still baffled but not letting it interfere with her breakfast.
"It’s nothing, just eat up, we won’t have enough time soon," Shen Wenzhou said, not knowing how to explain, and swiftly changed the subject.
After breakfast, the family of three left the house.
Although Shen Wenzhou had some strange dreams, he didn’t take them to heart.
But later, the frequency of his dreams increased.
Most of the dreams Shen Wenzhou had were related to Ye Wanwan. In his dreams, his mother was a crazed woman—unreasonable, with an extreme desire to control, attempting to dominate every aspect of his existence!
He could feel that in those dreams, he was starting to develop a repulsion towards that woman.
Waking up from those dreams, Shen Wenzhou couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt. After all, his mother was so good to him, she loved him, respected his thoughts, and would always support his decisions.

It took Shen Wenzhou a very long time to take a deep breath and tell himself it was just a dream.

Shen Wenzhou kept consoling himself, it was just a nightmare, nothing to worry about.
But for the rest of the night, Shen Wenzhou couldn’t sleep at all, enduring until daylight.
When eating breakfast downstairs in the morning, Ye Chaochao, seeing her brother’s weary appearance, expressed her surprise, "Big brother, what did you do last night?"
