There was a whole bunch of regulations Lin Fu had never even heard of before, but they were all very frightening.
Meaning they were enough to intimidate.
Lin Fu slightly tilted her head, her lips curving into an amused smile.
Her reaction made the squad leader suddenly lose his momentum, feeling as if he were a monkey performing in a zoo.

A nearby assistant yelled out, "Otherwise, we will take disciplinary action."
Before the assistant could finish speaking, the infuriated squad leader already pressed the red button beside him.
A red thread appeared on the left side of the Spirit Suppressor around Lin Fu’s neck and began to extend towards the other side.
Lin Fu’s body suddenly trembled, darkness clouded her vision, and she was engulfed by immense pain.

She hunched over in her chair, her head buried in her arms, her clothes soaked with cold sweat.

Horace was horrified, bursting through the interrogation room door with violent force. The others were still confused about what was happening, staring at the now frenzied Horace.
Horace’s face was ferocious as he screamed hoarsely, "He’s going to kill Lin Fu."
"Damn it! Open the door, quick."
It was only then that everyone noticed the red line on the Spirit Suppressor on Lin Fu’s neck was about to form a full circle, each one nearly scared out of their wits.
The Spirit Suppressor was the most commonly used method to control criminals. It could suppress a criminal’s spiritual power below the average level so that even a top expert would become less than a regular person.
There was a device inside it specifically designed for those of the most heinous crimes.
Once the switch was activated, the suppressor would emit micro electrical currents and psychic interference waves, stimulating the person’s mental world and the level of pain could easily destroy the resolve of a steadfast man.
The switch had ten ranks, with the pain increasing incrementally. During an interrogation, they would start at the First Level, then increase according to the prisoner’s stubbornness. The average prisoner wouldn’t last past the fourth level before spilling everything in unbearable pain.
Even the most vicious criminals would at most only reach Level 8.
Because at Level 9, a person was essentially ruined, and at Tenth Rank, when the red line closed into a circle, they would die instantly.
