Samantha Tate made a sound of acknowledgement, "I’m just thinking about nothing, that’s all."
Soon, the two arrived at the hotel entrance, and Carson Flores stopped, "Alright, go on up."
Samantha Tate blinked, "Aren’t you going to walk me to my room?"
Carson Flores laughed, "My resistance to beauty is rather weak, and I fear I can’t withstand its corruption. So, for me, the best thing to do is to keep myself out of danger."
Samantha Tate slapped Carson Flores lightly and pouted, "Then just a kiss!"
Carson Flores smiled and gave Samantha Tate a kiss. She happily hugged Carson Flores and then turned to enter the hotel.

Carson Flores laughed, "Yes, work demands. I’ll be staying here for a while."
Leonard Reid complained, "Mr. Flores, that’s really keeping your distance. You’re in Seashore and didn’t even give me a heads-up. Had I not talked to old Gu, I wouldn’t have known."
Carson Flores laughed, "Well, I didn’t really have anything on, and you’re busy, so I didn’t want to bother you."
Leonard Reid was straightforward, "No matter how busy, it won’t stop us from eating and drinking, right? Where are you now? I’m coming to join you for a drink."
Carson Flores responded, "I’m by the pharmaceutical plant number six, currently drinking with colleagues. I’m treating tonight, so it’s not convenient for me to leave."
Leonard Reid laughed heartily, "Pharmaceutical plant number six, that’s not far. Well, since you’re treating, you won’t mind me crashing the meal, right?"
With Leonard Reid putting it like that, Carson Flores naturally couldn’t refuse, "We’re just at the roadside food stall with our factory’s security staff. If you don’t mind, I can send you the location. We’ve just started."
Leonard Reid laughed, "Mind? In summer, drinking beer at a food stall is awesome. I, a rough guy like me, love that the most."
Carson Flores laughed, "Alright, I’ll send you the location. I’m working as a security guard at the factory, so just call me by my name, and please don’t call me Mr. Flores."
Leonard Reid paused for a moment, but smartly didn’t ask further, and quickly agreed, "Alright, I’ll call you by your name, and you don’t call me ’Mr. Reid’ either, just Leonard will do."
Half an hour later, Leonard Reid’s car parked about fifty meters away from the food stall, and Leonard Reid walked over from the roadside.
Carson Flores looked up and instantly smiled.
Leonard Reid was dressed in a big T-shirt, shorts, sandals, and the watch worth millions usually on his wrist was absent. His attire was totally down-to-earth, and he looked perfectly at ease in it.
Leonard Reid plopped down next to Carson Flores and introduced himself with a smile, "Leonard Reid, but you all can just call me Leonard."
Someone passed a beer to Leonard Reid and joked, "We’ve already drunk so much, you’ve got to catch up, eh?"
Leonard Reid agreed cheerfully, "Of course, I’ll start with a penalty of three drinks."
With a pint glass corresponding to a bottle, Leonard Reid chugged down three glasses in one go, set the glass down, and wiped his mouth, "Refreshing!"
The crowd cheered him on, and the atmosphere soared.
Carson Flores silently admired that Leonard Reid was truly a big shot who had risen from the lower ranks. He could dine with dignitaries in top-notch restaurants, casually chatting over meals worth tens of thousands, or he could sit on the roadside like he was now, sharing cheap bottles of beer with blue-collar workers, wholeheartedly enjoying the raw and unreserved dirty jokes.
