Carson Flores didn’t show Camille Rhodes any respect and wasn’t afraid of the threats implicit in her words.
He clearly understood that once he showed weakness, Camille would pounce on his vulnerable spots and use that to threaten him.

Camille looked at the unperturbed Carson, "What’s your background, and who taught you all this martial skills?"
Carson answered with a calm demeanor, "That doesn’t seem to be any of your business."
Camille gritted her teeth, "Do you really need to be so deeply wary of me?"
Carson appeared as if it were only to be expected, "Is it abnormal for me to be cautious around someone who could badmouth me to my wife at any moment, ruining my image? You are so cunning; even if we were to roll in the sheets together, I’d have to check first for any hidden cameras."
Camille was speechless, unable to figure out what to do with Carson for the time being.
She couldn’t outtalk him nor outfight him, which was a bit infuriating.
The car drove directly into a rather secluded building. Carson looked around, "Where is this?"
Camille and Carson got out of the car, walked into the building, entered the elevator, and she swiped a card, pressing the button for the second basement level.
The elevator doors opened, revealing a corridor from which the sounds of commotion faintly echoed.
Two well-built men stood at the elevator entrance. Seeing Camille, they bowed respectfully, "Miss Rhodes."
Carson looked around, "Rhodes Family property?"
Camille replied with a smile, "My property, just for fun."
Carson walked down the gleaming corridor, "A restaurant?"
Camille smiled, "Yes, but with a bit more to it."
Before Carson could ask further, they passed through the corridor, and suddenly, a huge boxing ring came into view.
Camille replied, "Combat sports."
Carson looked around; there were numerous seats around the ring and on the second floor, some like restaurant tables, others like bar booths, and even private rooms with floor-to-ceiling one-way mirrors.
Camille laughed lightly, "Only if they consent to it. Otherwise, it’s just about victory and defeat; being injured to the point of no longer being able to fight is a loss."
Carson glanced at Camille, "You, a woman, run this business?"
Camille answered calmly, "If others can do it, why can’t I? I’ve been obsessed with martial arts since I was young. A master once told me I’m a martial arts prodigy."
Carson chuckled, "A prodigy? Pardon my disrespect. What’s your current strength then?"
Camille snorted, "I’ve been looking for that master for many years now."
Carson curiously asked, "What do you want with him?"
Camille, visibly angry, said, "I want to beat him up because I think he was fooling me."
Carson couldn’t help but laugh, "With your father being the wealthiest in Tianhai, given your background, not only could you be called a prodigy, but it would even be plausible if they claimed a master was reincarnated in you."
The two took their seats in the best spot facing the ring and then signaled the waiter to serve the dishes.
The waiter brought a bottle of red wine, poured for both, and Camille picked up her glass with a light laugh, "Let’s have a toast, to forget all past grievances, shall we?"
Carson clinked his glass against Camille’s, "They’re just little surprises in an ordinary life, what grievance is there to speak of?"
Camille smiled beamingly, "Exactly, surprises."
After the dishes arrived, Carson didn’t stand on ceremony and started eating with chopsticks, while Camille ate gracefully, watching with amusement as he ate.
"Are you always ? Skilled and brave, hence fearless?"
Carson responded casually, "What’s there to be afraid of? If it comes down to it, I’ll just pay the bill. It’s not like I can’t afford it."
Camille asked, "I’m very curious. You and your wife seem like people from two different worlds. How did you two meet and get married?"
Carson replied, "Arranged marriage."
Camille chuckled at her own question and then said, "Your wife is so beautiful, like a goddess; of course, you’d agree. Did she also want to?"
Carson replied with a smile, "At least I’m quite handsome. She couldn’t resist. So, accepting me wouldn’t be too hard, right?"
Camille laughed, "That’s true. As for life, if you can’t resist it, might as well lie down and enjoy it."
As they chatted and finished their meal, two contestants took to the ring below for a match. After the introduction by the host, many people started placing their bets.
Carson realized that this fighting match was set up for the rich to gamble on.
Just as Carson was about to watch, Camille stood up, "These fighters are not strong enough. They couldn’t take one punch from you. There’s nothing exciting to see here; let’s go."
Carson casually asked, "Where to now?"
"After dining, I’ll take you to loosen your limbs."
Carson followed Camille out of the restaurant, took the elevator to the eighth floor, and entered a spacious room with a row of small beds.
Camille smiled, "Change your clothes and experience the skills of my masseurs."
Without hesitation, Carson took the comfortable clothing and went into the changing room.
Camille watched as Carson entered, then took out a capsule from her small bag, opened the capsule top, and poured all the powder into the teacup at Carson’s spot.
Camille looked at the changing room and then at the water cup, a triumphant smile spreading across her face.
