Kylie Martinez reached out proactively with her fair and soft hand toward Carson Flores. Before he could extend his hand, Camille Rhodes pressed down on Carson’s hand and huffed, "Don’t you dare shake it."
Carson Flores just smiled and did not reach out nor join the conversation.
Kylie Martinez withdrew her hand nonchalantly and chuckled, "You’re watching him so closely, could it be that he is really your boyfriend?"
Camille Rhodes laughed, "That’s none of your business."
Kylie Martinez’s eyes showed a flicker of curiosity; she pulled over a chair and sat down directly. "We’re old acquaintances after all. You won’t mind having a meal together, right? The more, the merrier, how about it?"
But Camille Rhodes did not shoo her away; she just rolled her eyes, "Sure, as long as you’re paying."
Kylie Martinez readily said, "I’ll pay; no big deal. Wayne Singleton, take a seat."
The handsome young man beside her sat down too, looking slightly stiff.
Kylie Martinez called the waiter over, ordered more dishes, and shouted for a bottle of red wine. She smiled, "Want a drink?"
Camille Rhodes smiled, "Since you’re treating, of course, I have to drink."
All four of them poured themselves some wine and started to eat. Kylie Martinez said with a laugh, "Now that we’re all sitting together drinking, let’s make proper introductions. I can’t just keep calling you ’handsome’ or ’hey,’ that’d be so impolite. This is my boyfriend, Wayne Singleton..."
Camille Rhodes glanced at Wayne Singleton, "Careful, the woman sitting next to you is a femme fatale. Watch out or she’ll swallow you whole, bones and all."
Kylie Martinez laughed, "Come on, what’s with the scare talk? I only devour men in bed."
Camille Rhodes pointed at Carson Flores, "Carson Flores."
Kylie Martinez pressed, "Boyfriend?"
Camille Rhodes responded, "Can’t we have dinner with just a regular friend?"
Kylie Martinez smiled and turned to Carson Flores, "And what do you do, Carson?"
Carson Flores replied with ease, "I work at a pharmaceutical company."
Kylie Martinez was slightly surprised; in their circle, who still worked as an employee?
Kylie Martinez was a bit uncertain now; could they really just be ordinary friends?
But it seemed unlikely; Camille Rhodes had never brought a single guy here to hang out before.

Kylie Martinez wrapped her arm around Wayne Singleton next to her and said with a smile, "Wayne Singleton is a racer; he’s really good at driving. I’m planning to let him race for me tonight."
Camille Rhodes looked at Wayne Singleton, "I don’t recall seeing you before?"
Wayne Singleton explained, "I used to race on Dongshan Road; I haven’t been over here."
Camille Rhodes made a sound of realization, "The eighteen bends on Dongshan Road are quite tough; accidents are frequent there. What’s your rank over there?"
Wayne Singleton answered, "First."
Camille Rhodes seemed to realize and looked at Kylie Martinez with a sneer, "You had to resort to playing the temptress to get a racer? Can’t you simply use money?"
Kylie Martinez laughed softly, "What temptress? When Wayne drives, he’s really something. He has so many little fans on Dongshan Road. By snatching him away, two of them even cried on the spot..."
Camille Rhodes pursed her lips, "That’s just like you, always wanting to snatch away what others like. You grab it, play around for a couple of days, and when you’re bored, you toss it aside."
