Kylan Martinez walked behind Kylie Martinez, frowning and calmly speaking as he stared at the screen, his eyes filled with surprise.
Kylie Martinez gritted her teeth: "He hasn’t caught up yet!"
Kylan shook his head: "Wayne Singleton has run this track before, but it’s Carson Flores’s first time here, driving an unfamiliar car on an unfamiliar track, he was already at a disadvantage, his lagging behind was just him getting used to the car and the track, although there’s still some distance, with only five corners left to the finish line, at about the fourth corner, which is an inner bend, he will catch up and push your friend behind him to complete the overtake."

Just as Kylan had said, at the penultimate turn, Carson executed a clean and textbook-level drift that forcefully pushed Wayne’s car aside, then quickly opened up a gap of more than half a car’s length, completing the overtake.
At the last bend, Carson left Wayne completely behind, then roared over the finish line in a mad dash, ending the race.
Amidst the curses and disappointed screams from the crowd, Camille excitedly waved her arm and turned her head to look at Kylie with a beaming smile.
"Kylie Martinez, sorry, but you lost."
Kylie clenched her teeth as she glared at Camille, who didn’t care at all and just smiled back, clearly waiting in anticipation.
Kylie knew what Camille was waiting for and angrily took out her phone, composing a WeChat Moments post that read "Camille Rhodes is a great beauty, I am an ugly pig" and sent it out as per their bet.
Having lost was just that, the terms of the bet had to be honored, otherwise, with a bit of publicity from Camille, she would be even more embarrassed.
Posting on social media was embarrassing, but everyone knew about her increasing rivalry with Camille, they could guess she lost a bet, and it would pass with a laugh, no harm done; aside from Camille, no one would be tactless enough to mock Kylie about it afterwards.
Camille took out her phone, found Kylie’s Moments post, liked it, and then responded with a comment.

Seeing Camille’s response, Kylie gritted her teeth furiously: "Today you win, next time I will take my revenge!"
After Kylie spoke, she huffily turned and left, diving into her car. Raiden Mason hurried after her, getting into the driver’s seat, and soon the car zoomed out of the farmstay into the night.
Kylan, who had witnessed the entire scene, shook his head helplessly as he looked at Camille: "You two have been at it for so long, don’t you get tired of it?"
Camille smiled sweetly in response: "The day she bows her head and admits defeat to me, that’s the day I’ll be tired of it."
Kylan asked: "Where did you dig up Carson Flores? He’s pretty skilled."
Camille laughed: "Met him at a bar while drinking."
Kylan looked at the screen with Carson’s car on it, and said lightly: "He’s skilled, but he has a bit of a wild streak."
Camille giggled: "People with ability naturally have a wild streak."
Kylan was noncommittal: "Have fun, I’m leaving."
Soon, Carson Flores and Wayne Singleton drove back, Carson still appeared relaxed, no signs of excitement about the victory or euphoria over winning ten million, as if he had simply stepped out for a walk after dinner.
Wayne’s face, however, was sour. When his gaze swept past Camille and he didn’t see Kylie, a wry smile appeared on his face.
He had anticipated this outcome.
Carson walked back to Camille’s side and said with a smile: "Alright, I did what you wanted, now you need to keep your promise."
Camille smiled reassuringly: "Don’t worry, I’m a woman of my word."
Camille returned Carson’s card to him: "After deducting a 5% fee, along with your capital, nineteen million five hundred thousand is all in there."
Carson hummed in acknowledgment, casually took the card, and tucked it into his pocket: "Where’s Kylie?"
Camille laughed proudly: "After she posted the Moments, she stormed off in a huff."
To Carson, who considered such childish rivalries trivial, why bother commenting? Weren’t most of these children of wealthy families idling away anyhow?
Without finding themselves something to do, how would they ever get through the endless days?
Camille nodded: "Let’s go."
When they reached the car, Camille said: "Ride shotgun."
Carson got into the car, looking at Camille, who had taken the driver’s seat: "What now, you want to race? Where’s your bodyguard?"
"He’ll find his own way back."
Camille gave Carson a flirtatious smile: "I promised you a reward if you won."
Camille started the car: "You’ll find out soon enough."
The car left the farmhouse and hit the main road, but not long after, Camille suddenly turned off the main road and drove into a desolate riverbed.
Carson looked around warily: "What trick are you trying to pull now?"
Camille didn’t answer Carson, but turned off all the lights inside and outside the car, plunging the interior into darkness.
In the dark, Camille leaned in close, bringing with her a faint fragrance: "The promised reward, you’re definitely going to like it..."
