Carson caught him in one move and then began to take his pulse and examine him.
Cason Rich struggled desperately, shouting loudly, "Monster, let go of me, let go!"

Brock Rich’s spirit was lifted as he asked, "What is Nightmare Syndrome?"
Carson explained, "I’ve read about this condition in an obscure ancient book. Sometimes, people can’t wake up from a nightmare; they see all sorts of bizarre things in the dream. Even when you realize it’s a dream, no matter how you struggle, you just can’t wake up."
"Your father is now in that state; his mind is in chaos. He’s fine otherwise, but it’s as if he’s trapped in a dream he cannot wake from. In this state, everything he sees changes from their original form to something conjured by his imagination."
Brock Rich tentatively asked, "A mental illness?"
Carson nodded, "You could say that, the symptoms are similar on the surface."
Brock Rich inquired, "Is there a treatment?"
Carson nodded, "The ancient book recorded a treatment method, it’s a bit of metaphysics, and I’m not sure if it works. If Mr. Rich doesn’t mind, we could give it a try."
Brock Rich was obviously puzzled, but his answer was firm, "Let’s try it, we can’t end up any worse than we are now."
Carson nodded, "Let’s go out and write a prescription."
Both returned the way they had come, and Brock Rich had someone bring paper money. Carson wrote furiously and then handed the paper to Brock Rich.
Brock Rich took the paper and glanced at it, his expression a little strange, but he didn’t say anything; he just summoned someone and handed them the list.
"Go and prepare this quickly."
By noon, everything was ready, and Carson and Brock Rich both returned to the basement.
A huge wooden tub was placed in the center of the room, filled with a viscous liquid as red as blood, emitting an unbelievably pungent smell of blood.
Together, Carson and Brock Rich forced Cason Rich into the liquid, with Carson picking up a ladle to scoop up the blood-red liquid and drench him head to toe.
Cason Rich was terrified and screamed loudly, as if he had seen a ghost.
With every ladle poured, Cason Rich’s body trembled, and he screamed in terror. As the dousing continued, he seemed unable to withstand the horrific ordeal any longer and passed out with a scream.
Brock Rich asked with some worry, "Isn’t this too intense?"
Carson gave a wry smile, "I’ve never encountered this situation before, let’s just take a shot in the dark."
Brock Rich gritted his teeth, "Alright, he can’t get any crazier than he was before."
Carson channeled Gang Qi into the acupoints on Cason Rich’s body. Stimulated, Cason suddenly woke up.
Screaming, Cason Rich opened his eyes and saw Brock Rich holding him; he hesitated, his eyes gradually focusing, "Brock, why are you here?"
Delighted, Brock Rich said, "Dad, you recognize me?"
Cason Rich looked at Brock Rich in a daze, "No, you’re not Brock, you look much older than he is, but you’re so similar, who are you really?"
Brock Rich said excitedly, "It’s me, Brock, your son; you’ve been sick for over twenty years."
Confused, Cason Rich asked, "Where is this, Heavenly Mountain?"
Brock Rich replied, "This is our home..."
Brock Rich recounted to Cason Rich the ordeal of his madness and then asked, "Dad, what exactly happened to you, how did you end up like that?"
"What happened to me?"
Recollection crossed Cason Rich’s face, and suddenly, his expression showed shock and excitement.
"I remember now, I was looking for an entrance, I found it, that entrance..."
Cason Rich had not finished speaking when Brock Rich suddenly put his hand over Cason’s mouth, turned to Carson with an awkward smile and said, "Mr. Flores..."
