Carson Flores was sitting on the sofa, embracing Samantha Tate as they watched TV when the sound of the password lock unlocking came from the door.
Turning his head, Carson saw his aunt Leah Frost appearing at the doorway.
Carson stood up and greeted her with a smile, but inside, he felt puzzled. His aunt had been going out continuously these past few days, and whenever he asked her what she was doing, she kept silent.
Leah Frost smiled at Carson, just about to speak when her complexion suddenly changed, and she spat out a mouthful of blood, her body weakly collapsing towards the ground.
Carson was shocked. His figure flashed like lightning, and in an instant, he was at Leah Frost’s side, catching her in his arms and quickly shutting the room door.

Carson lifted Leah Frost and carried her into her room, placing her on the bed, then he began to take her pulse.

Leah Frost replied with a weak smile, "I’ll listen to you."
Carson turned his head and instructed, "Yue Yue, fetch my Silver Needles from the first compartment of the bedside table on the left."
Carson turned Leah Frost over, so she was lying face down on the bed, took a pair of scissors, and cut open the back of her clothes, revealing her smooth back which had a glaring red palm print on it, with the entire area around it swollen.
Carson took the Silver Needles and began to perform acupuncture on Leah Frost.
